Your tutorials are so good. I knew this channel was going to be great as soon as I saw your early tessellation video. Please don’t stop what you’re doing. I may not be creating as much as I’d like to but you’re making everything I make better.
Great Tutorial! Subscribed!
Very cute hair style :)
Nice results! Hair in Blender has come a long way from the particle days. Three cheers for Nodes!

Indeed!
I have used interpolate density mask and picked a vertex group for my hair/fur. This works fine, however, how do I move the "strays/curves" that are distributed across my whole body-mesh to the vertex group? Snap to, that I found in another tut does not work. I guess I can manually move them, but what would be a faster way? I notice you simply erased most of them, however, if I do that, I have only a few strands on my head. I guess I need more to be able to manipulate it correctly.
What's the difference between quick fur vs adding empty hair unto model mesh?

Quick fur has frizz, interpolate, and few other modifiers already added, while for empty hair you will have to add them manually
