Enough said, but given EA's track record lately they'd ruin it, leave the Mirror's Edge and Titanfall series alone until they get better management is what I say otherwise we'd have another BF5, Mass Effect Adromeda or Battlefront 2 on our hands, riddled with micro transactions as a live service instead of the great games we got in the Mirror's Edge Series and the Titanfall Series (and yes I guess Apex Legends too before EA got their claws fully into respawn once they saw Apex Made money) those are two of my favourite games ever because they brought something new to the mainstream gaming and they need to be applauded for it.

Well, I know it is using the Catalyst motif, and does seem to have some of the same instruments Solar Fields uses. The bass, especially. It could be Solar Fields doing his take on Hollywood trailer music.

This game definitely did not deserve the hate it got at launch. It’s like some people simply don’t want to enjoy anything. I really hope EA revisits this in a few years.

I like the environments, so clean and futuristic.

Please make another Mirror's edge

I'd love to see a third part of Mirror's Edge. It has been such a big part of my teenage years and I still love watching and playing both parts. There is still an incredibly large fanbase out there who'd be so exited to run another parkour in your game series. :) I'll keep hoping for a new part.

2023 here... I'd even take a remaster/remake of catalyst.. it clearly wasn't finished but had so much potential. With modern consoles this engine would shine beautifully.

That is why I love it. Some people think you need ammo, or the bigger, better guns to win; but you don't. You just need the willpower, strength, ingenuity, and ideas. This game really shows you how to think outside the box, inspires hundreds, and shows you just what power you can have in what seems to be a lost cause with no resources.

the world we live in today lacks creativity and appreciation for the simple things amongst many things. I wish more people would "play" and "enjoy" and "have fun" like we did with Mirror's Edge and other unique games of the time :)

Someone in reddit claimed that he talked with Ea developers and they told him that game have already sold more then they wanted and they can develop a new game but currently there is no me project ongoing. I wish someone could make perfect parkour game even if we cant play new me game in the future. me is unique in terms of complete parkour game. Lets see how dying light2 will be. They always delayed game which means game will be good. Even if game is good still it is not mainly a parkour game.

We are still patiently waiting for the 3 one.

Got this the day after it released and finished it on that day on the XBONE, absolutely fell in love with the city of glass after a large amount of years waiting! Completely worth it and the map is bigger then expected!

My god, the music, the graphics, the game, the cutscenes! My heart just stopped. This game is worth every scent I paid for the Collector's Edition, judging by Gamescom demo and the Closed Beta! Mirror's Edge Catalyst Best game all time.

I hope a new Mirror's Edge will release in the near future... ME1 is a timeless masterpiece and MEC is still amazing so with that said, I dream of a new Mirror's Edge like ME1 but with open world and combat like ME Catalyst.

I cared so much for these games. Overjoyed to see a second one, but it went the wrong direction in the execution. A work of art rarely seen in video games. These games hold a special place in my heart.

I like this game. I want to see a sequel to Catalyst. Plus I read the official comic for this game called Exordium, which is a prequel. And whatever one may say, the world and lore in Mirror's edge looks very curious in my opinion. I want to say the same about the main character. I really like her and I wanted to see the continuation of her story and her further development as a character.

Now in 60fps on XSX.... 🔥🔥🔥

Would love for you guys to try again.. Catalyst got bogged down in fetch quests and open world tropes.. But the original Mirrors Edge is my favorite game ever. Don't let it die!

EA. I’ll be honest, I do not like you. But you own many, many IP’s of genuine originality and quality. So much so that I honestly believe most of my favorite games to play are indeed created by you. Battlefield. SWTOR. Mass Effect. Dead Space. Mirror’s Edge. Please, please, please clean up your act, EA. You have a stellar lineup of games, but don’t let that get to your head as it has been these past few years. I know you won’t change your ways but dammit if you were a more ethical and respectful company you’d be at the top of the game production industry in no time. I love your games. I love Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst; a solid 7.95/10 with great replayability. I WILL buy another Mirrors Edge game if it is ever announced. But I won’t buy it for you. Never for you, EA. Afraid not. They're both slow "cinematic" games with too much emphasis on style over substance. Well - with DX the substance might be there and we just don't know it yet. With this there's no hope. Inb4 someone claims this game is fast. Turn off the motion blur and it's slower than Doom 2016.

+Field of View One still focuses on movement and a fast pace, where the other is a slower stealth game (at least to me). One has a story I care about, the other one doesn't. One has mostly bright, clean and colorful visuals, while the other goes for a more gritty, dark and realistic look. One has a pretty and agile young woman with no weapons as the protagonist, the other has a big, tough cyborg dude with throat cancer and enough weapons to take down a small army. One is open world, the other I assume will be closed levels and a hub world.

There’s a lot of gamers who haven’t played the original and it could stir up hype for a Mirror’s Edge 3 game. Something for EA to consider at least. The game’s lighting and reflections were amazing on the PS3, I can only imagine what a PS5 version would look like

Locking out certain areas of the early game for later parts of the story so that going back to previous areas makes exploration feel more rewarding in later parts of the game instead of just being able to get everything your first time through.

Jeremy Miller said the MAG Rope will be mainly used for swinging over gaps, but can later be upgraded so that it could pull Faith up or pull objects towards her. Like the others said, it can only latch onto certain objects, like surveillance cameras. So I don't think it will.

Probably won't happen cause it's EA and they're only relying on Battlefield mostly cause it's their signature IP. My opinion is releasing a new one in every generation. We'll see. But recently a spokesperson from DICE when asked if projects like Mirror's Edge are on the backburner. Her response: "Totally. We are only focusing on Battlefield 2042. There is no time for anything else and this is what we want to do. In three years, we want to be the first-person shooter powerhouse that DICE deserves to be, and that is what we're going for."

This franchise deserves more attention!

I love how when after the line"That is your future" plays, you can here the first chord of the song "Still Alive".

The game IS JUST EPIC !!!! 5 STARS DESERVED. I fell in love with it since I played Mirror's Edge 1; and Catalyst is just Fabulous ! STUNNING GRAPHICS AND GAMEPLAY OVERALL ! STORYLINE AAA+ GOOD JOB WITH THIS ONE ! We want a continuity of this game, please, make a new one !

Faith, Noah, Icarus, Nomad, Dogen, Plastic, Cat, Gabriel, Aline and everyone else are waiting... Well Noah is dead and Gabriel is somewhere but you get the point...
