Nah, he mentions wings being broken. I figure the ending is going to be bitter sweet with the dog monster gaining his wings back and flying away into the sunset or something like that. Basically, the classic separation at the end.

I am glad to hear it plays well otherwise. The reviews of the game I have seen so far seem to be very fair in praising it but criticizing what could be better. Like I said, I have *heard* there was sloppy programming that resulted in difficult controls and erratic camera performance. And of course I don't just complain and cry every time a good game comes out. That would be ridiculous. Almost as ridiculous as me sitting here commenting on a youtube video and actually expecting a constructive reply.

I feel like we shouldn't get too attached to that bird dog creature...

+StoryoftheYear16 That's very true, there are a lot of great games for both current generation consoles and I'm not in any way hating on the PS4 it's just that I game on a PC nowadays and that's really only to take advantage of the much better and upgradable hardware that's available. So I personally didn't have a good reason to buy a PS4. But now this game is finally coming out and it's PS4 exclusive, I don't really have a choice... I HAVE TO PLAY THIS GAME!!!

Tony Amorim Ico and Shadow of the Colossus were also on the PS2, which was pretty impressive for the time. Now that it's 2 console generations later, you're gonna use that excuse when it looks bad? Especially when the game looked better when it was revealed 7 years ago? No. Something went wrong with development. That's the only explanation for why it took 9 years to develop this game.

I teared up when I saw this it's absolutely beautiful!

This trailer gives me manly teardrops it brings back memory when i was young playing ico and shadow of the colossus i hope this game worth the wait and be an instant classic

The architecture looks incredible. Not surprising, the ICO castle was like a character of itself, which was why it's destruction was such a powerful gaming moment. This game looks far more similar to ICO than SOTC (in tone), which is cool. I have mixed emotions on the look of the boy, which is quite a jarring stylistic choice, but still cannot wait to play. Actually seeing a release date was a crazy moment (as anyone who has followed the whole ridiculous development of the game would agree.) It has already been quite a journey to get to the point where we can really play this game. I know there is no way it could live up to the hype and expectations following such a delayed development - but I'm so happy the game will finally be released. And hopefully the studio can go ahead and start work on a new title ASAP, starting with the modern gaming technology of today. Instead of constantly being stuck behind the evolution of the rest of the industry with this one game. The talent these people posses produced certainly one of the best games of all time with SOTC, so finally that talent can be moved onto new projects. :)

Oh man, when I get my own dog when I move out, I want to name it Trico!

This will almost certainly be a masterpiece to anyone who was a fan of Ueda's work in ICO & SOTC - not many games make you feel such emotional attachment to the characters with so little in the way of narrative. Every little subtle gesture & mannerism shared between the hero and his friend/horse/weird griffon thing is equisitely captured & is a testiment to his genius. There were quite a few times i that this game was never gonna materialise at all - so glad it's here this year, October 25th is underlined twice in my diary!

This game looks amazing, the city looks awesome, and that kid has some sick prison ink. I can't wait.

I don´t think this game will live up to the hype, frankly. It shows the scars caused by a long and ardous developement cycle. It will probably will be some kind of "cult classic" for many people, though, but mainly because of the sentimental factor already attached to it that for the game itself.

I couldn't agree more. Its like in illustration, the term exhaustion, where you keep perfecting a drawing to the point where it becomes weathered.

Yes, even Ueda seems to be exhausted at this point. "Yes, I worry. All I can do at this moment really is pray, Now it's just a case of faith" he told to an Endgadget reporter.

I've been interested since the game was announced years ago. I love ICO and Shadow of the Colossus; amazing gameplay, atmosphere, soundtrack, and emotionally draining. The Last Guardian will more than likely succeed on all of that. Graphically, sure, it shows its age, but that won't detract from my gaming experience. I'm more involved with how emotional the end-result will be. It looks engaging to play, and I feel like I'll be very satisfied with the game.

From people who've played it say that it is kind of glitchy but I'll bet they fix it and the story hasn't changed or anything so I think that will be good

It's been so long that I almost lost hope for this game being released. I'm so happy!

It's the art style and I think it works since SoTC and ICO had elements of characters not belonging or being treated differently because of their race and because of their horns.

I have been watching this over and over again, I love the music and the beauty of this game. I will have this game soon!
