Once every few months, maybe years, i come back and listen to this song. Can't explain it, but this song and the picture of MirrorsEdge, hits me so hard in the feels... Time was different back in 2008, when I turned on my PS3, without knowing, that this game will have an impact on me 16 years later. Now I am 30 😯 time flies...

I remember playing this game as a kid without any problems, and then imagining myself being Faith and running around forest, jumping on trees… Good memories guys I wish you all to have those "stop" moments sometimes and feel like 'ol times :D For me finding new games to play is good option sometimes, Witcher 3 or Metro Exodus were great stories and memories:)

Ironically both games by smaller teams without the connection and budget of bigger developers that kinda put to shame most other games in their categories...

I feel like every part of this game was underrated. But seeing as I cosplay as Faith I'm a little biased.

I completely fell in love with this game when I got it. The problem is, is that I'm really bad at it.

Same. Played the XBOX Demo up and down. At some point I bought a copy on ebay from my monthly 10,00 € pocket money and it was one of the best purchases I ever did. Played that stuff up and down. Multiple runs. I loved hunting the trophy/achievement where you didn't fire a single bullet.

This takes me back to 2008 when I first lived in Seattle for the first time 🥺

13 years old and this song is still emotional awesomeness and can make anyone cry in how beautiful this song is

I think the problem is that big companies nowadays don’t want to take risks and try to innovate… they just want to make more money. Mirrors Edge wasn’t that popular of a game because it wasn’t your typical Call of Duty or similar type of game. It was an experiment, which is a big financial risk for a video game studio and publisher. We will never have a game as unique as this, or games like the ones that came out during this era, because the games that are made today are financed by people unwilling to take risks on things that are unique

This song strikes me with nostalgia so powerful it nearly draws tears from me. This is a Golden Age artifact that I will personally preserve as long as I live and breath

So much Nostalgia, I never played this game, but this song stands for a certain vibe of an era, a time where I was like 13 and experienced so many games like assassins creed 2, Mass Effecr 2, MW2, and bioshock 2.

I can’t believe this game is 10 fucking years old. Great memories. And THIS is how you do a female protagonist well. Every modern game has to point out to you that the protag is a woman, when here she was just a great character. Probably one of the very last AAA games to not even have any multiplayer. Times have really changed

Hard to believe this was that long ago… This song just hit so different now. I miss these times. I hope they bring it back again

This song is getting me through the pandemic. How relatively naive we were in 2008. Mirror’s Edge embodied beauty & simplicity, in simpler times.

I don't know why KZread decided to hit me with a bunch of Mirror's Edge content but I'm glad it did, I had so much fun replaying the game again. I really miss the PS3/360 era of gaming, I used to think that I'm just burnt out on gaming but it's just the fact that modern games aren't as much fun (there are exceptions of course)

This game was a product of its time. After seeing how inconsistently DICE handled Catalyst a large part of me believes it’s best left where it is. We can go back to 2008 playing this, and you know what? That’s just fine with me.

yeah, catalyst definitely took another approach that took it far away from the 2008 mirror's edge, don't get me wrong catalyst can be a fun game but og is definitely a unique game worth revisiting.

This used to be my go-to game to play when I wanted to relax from kicking ass on Call of Duty Black Ops 1 lol. Mirror's Edge is still a great game to this day containing beautiful landscapes, great soundtracks, and unique gameplay that other games barely compare to.

Still come back here for some unreal nostalgia… I was literally 5 when this came out.

I remember that i was playing the demo on the ps3 back in the days. I palyed it again and again- legit 50 times+ because 1. the game was super cool with parkour (it was also a big jump in quality for that time- i was so flashed) and 2. that song right here played at the end were you esqaped with the helicopter
