Yes, it DOES make sense that a mink would make a good exterminator if one knows their biology (Mink = Seasonally camouflaging weasel that is very good at swimming). It's also nice to know they can easily get into the rat holes that no other pest-control carnivore can!

Bindi's face tells it all. Bindi knows where you are and was anxious to start. Bindi's face is scared from all those rat bites. Bindi looks like a real warrior with battle scars to prove it. lol. 2 different animals and 2 different styles. This is also efficient but with the dogs are more fast passed and more exciting. @Joseph Carter the Mink Man, do you know if there is any difference in "breed" from the northern minks vs the southern minks? I live down in the swamps and see them from time to time but just curious if you have every handled any from different parts of the country and if their behaviors differ ?

Thanks for sharing your latest adventure. When cameraman (David?) was in the shed with Honey Badger, a rat ran under the mower & David gave the sic sic sic warning cry & the mink seemed to then chase after the rat- I was curious if David was simply alerting the dogs, or if the mink are also aware of that vocal alert.

Hey Mr. Carter, great video! But I’d like to know if your mink ever get bit or hurt by the rats? I can’t help but think that sometimes the rat is able to bite the mink right in the beginning of the encounter. Your mink are certainly obedient and relentless in their efforts.

Joe have those mink ever got stuck in tight places and have to save them? When you feed them through the little wire cage can they clean it up that way and I would suppose you do that so they eat slowly instead of fast?

I post a video every week, sometimes even twice a week.

I always wonder if that screaming sound is from the rats or is a signal to the minks and dogs to catch the rats, like a wistle or sum

Probably been asked before but what is the reason multiple minks aren't released to hunt at the same time?

I would imagine it would be next to impossible to control. With about 3-4 minks you can't have your eyes everywhere.

For one they typically fight each other. But even if they don't fight, it's really easy to lose them as they are difficult enough to keep track of one at a time!
