8.5 years, and never once did any dog attack a mink? That’s incredible! Those dogs are truly something in the heat of the moment.

I honestly trust my dogs more than people. No joke, if you come ratting with me and pick up a shovel or a stick to start hitting rats, I will tell you to put it down or leave. If you notice the same applies to me. I'm never swinging sticks or shovels at rats, because unlike my dogs, I have had accidents and hit my own dog. I do not trust people to not accidentally hit my animals, but I do trust my dogs.

@@JosephCartertheMinkMan Addressing 8:24 here: There was a simple saying my uncle, who had a Border Jack dog named Maisy that was used for ratting (and occasionally flushing rabbits), used to tell me when I questioned why she'd never grab things like bandicoots or possums, even in the dark; "The nose always comes before the mouth, _always."_ I don't think it'd be outta the question that the dogs might recognise the mink much more by scent than by sight, considering a lot of their world is experienced through smells, and considering they probably pick em' up far faster and more intensely than we do. That and the probably very rigorous training you do with em', I'm sure that'd make recognition even faster.
I think F1 is the only mink I have seen run with dogs to chase after the rat. She is an awesome little mink

That's a LOT of rats ! I loved Boss' double play ! I was wondering that too, if the dogs have ever mistaken a mink for a rat in the all the chaos. Amazing.
F1 mink is showing signs of being an amazing hunter and she's not afraid to go after rats not much smaller than herself. And considering she's never worked with the dogs before, she sure knew who was friend or foe right here 7:48.
It was so precious seeing Bindi bringing you the rat. She was like, "look Dad! I got a rat for you!"
7:09 Boss was amazing! He heard that rat over by the building behind him while watching the feeding station
I'm so excited for this series! Maybe I'm bias because I'm the one filming but I think this series has by far the best clips of mink so far! These mink were absolutely remarkable even thought it was their first time in the field. I can't wait for people to see the rest of the videos! It was also such a cool experience helping these amazing farmers with their infestation and getting the new mink some experience. There is so much more amazing mink and dogs action coming down the pipeline!

Little F1 has some good drive and is really good around the pups !! Not aggressive @ all towards them !! Straight up killer, for sure
That little mink needs a kickass, strong name. Running with the pack and lethal and accurate kills for her first time. I see good things for her in the future! Good job everyone!
Boss is such a perimeter. His wisdom always shines through. He's the last line of defense and a complete iron wall
Always a pleasure seeing dogs work, fantastic seeing the mink go to work too. You have done a great job, not too many people have the touch, you do a good job running the team!

Yeah turned with open mouth to chomp on another but At last sec ...."o,that's the mink'o " turned away back to the hunt & chase. & the one dog kept putting rats in bucket. Wouldn't even show um off like it knew its job & that where they go when dead.
I love the mink trying to keep up with Boss to run down a rat 😂"My poor little legs"
It’s like a symphony watching everyone working together.
And now my Friday is complete.
My dog would LOVE this. I bet they have so much fun grabbing those rats
I really enjoyed watching how well this mink worked. She’s very talented! As always, the dogs were amazing. Fat well fed rats. Great video today!
Boss is in his element on this massively open pheasant farm and he's defo showing the little ones why he's such a critical player in this team.
That really is impressive I've been hunting for 20years well impressed with your dog's for sure 👍🏴
Female one did a great job, running with the dogs. Well done female 1 and dogs. From jacqui, Perth, Western Australia.
7:53 That was incredible. The dog may be excited but knew not to bother the mink. Really well done!!

Wow! Great job F1. All your dogs and minks put a smile on my face especially Gypsy. She always has to make sure the rats are dead.
This reminds me of badgers and coyotes hunting together
Boss is so good he’s always catching the ones that think they got away
Boss is an assassin. He is a smart, patient, strategist and a graceful athlete. It's a thing of beauty to watch him work. He plays a helluva game of squash.
I’ve seen many similar comments but we’ve obviously seen mink chase down musk rats but what a machine this mink is chasing down rats with the dogs.
Those Rats are so big wow! Keep it up Mr Carter.. One Love!!
I am very happy with Mink jobs also with dogs works thanks guys 😊😊😊
That is the cutest things thou.. Seeing the dogs and minks run after rats.. But it looks funny how they out ran her for the rat,,,,lol
Very impressive how the dogs get the rats and work with the mink.
I like how Bindi also buckets rats she didnt kill
Those rats where vicious they where biting the hell out of each other when u where holding them was crazy they almost sounded like mini pigs when they went nuts.
Those were some healthy rats--big ol' boys. Loved that the mink seemed happy to be part of the pack. Maybe when you name her something like Mowgli. It's a boy's name, but it's the boy from the Jungle Book who runs with the wolves.
Watching the mink, F1, run with the pack was fun and exciting. And of course Bindy, Boss and Gypsy never disappoint. ❤
You should name F1 “Enola” because she’s Sherlock’s sister 😂 (show on streaming tv). She’s sassy and tenacious. All good qualities for a mink. 😉😋 Love your hunting videos. The mink and dogs are so fun to watch. Obviously loved as well. 😊
AS PER.... This video was AMAZING! F1 thinks shes 1 of the dogs in my view which cracked me up! Seeing her run with them 👍🏼🤣 I hope she does well @Joseph Carter, cant wait to see the other F's at work next. Huge respect from 🇬🇧
Amazing that the dog can distinguish between rat and mink in a split second in all that chaos. Their sense of smell is so incredible.
When you told the dog "bucket" and the dog put the rat in the bucket, so cool!
an online friend and I were talking about energy outlets for her pittie mix pup and thought about your channel. She would love to teach the pup to hunt rats, but doesn't know where to start. Also, Bindi has just the cutest face! That blind retrieve was like "Dad? Dad? Look what I got. I do good?"
I love when you use mink it’s just fun how they sccury
Absolutely amazing they all work as one.
The mink did excellent work! And the rats were huge!

I am sitting here in complete amazement! I have never seen anything like this in my life! Absolutely fascinating! And, I'm only at the 8 minute mark !😳😯
I love that you give the mink names as a title of rat hunting graduation. Awesome work, dude!
I am fascinated and would love to start a business here in Oklahoma… I already work with dogs so hopefully there would not be too much of a learning curve and I can really give some great jobs to people who are not working… Great idea… This business is a thing of beauty!
I made the comment on someone else's comment, but since she was running after rats with the pack I think a good name for the mink would be dances with wolves or dances with dogs. She did a great job, especially for her first time!

Considering how fierce and tenacious the mink was in chasing the rats, I think she should be given a name like Amazon or Scythia. The Scythians were the warrior people that myths about Amazons were based on, and Scythian women in particular were famous for their skill in hunting and how fierce they were in battle.
That mink is awesome, not going after the dogs, and not afraid of the dogs either.
F1 reminds me of Washushe and Fang is like their color mix and attitude. Shes a good little runner
Dogs are pretty amazing. Especially, when they are trained. My cousin had beagles he would use them to hunt deer and rabbit. And they only tracked deer when hunting deer and rabbit when hunting rabbit. Never would they sway it and it was the same dogs used for both. It's just incredible how smart they are.. They don't get enough credit.
I so enjoy watching you, your mink and dogs. I also enjoy it when you get the kids out for the adventures.
Boss is an outstanding dog he has such a cool attitude with everything going on
I have a German Shepard and love watching animals work and do what they love. The dedication is astonishing.

The moment in the video of the mink chasing the rat alongside the dog's is amazing and pretty cool. 🤩
Look at Boss Man flying over the whole damn area. He is often on his way back when the other dogs are arriving on the scene. 😂

I love how Boss can just feel the kill bite/shake and lets it drop. No hesitation. F1= Ferrari, F2= Mercedes.

Your mink is such an awesome, amazing creature. I hope she lives a long, loving and productive life.
Could watch these dogs all day!! Love this channel!
I am addicted to watching your dogs and mink take care of rats. No danger to other wildlife or pets. I love watching them work. I love Boss. Keep up the great job.
8:31 you answered the question as I was just about to type it…I guess it’s just natural instinct even with all the chaos that the dogs don’t grab a mink!!! Great video
Your relationship with your animals is amazing! I was so Worried about the dogs getting hurt on those sticks - they are so fast!
I have to confess: being from Tornado Alley (and somewhat unhealthily interested in the storms), I saw the mink was called F1, and immediately started calling her 'Fujita'.
Catching rats by hand, at times bare handed. Crazy Joe.
This was really impressive. My first time watching something like this.

If the dogs themselves weren't scary enough for the rats, then the mink playing the role of undercover "rat" going into their dens after them has got to be f#&ing terrifying!
