As someone who loves rats, I'm glad people like you exist. It's so much more humane to have trained dogs (and minks) to go after rat nests instead of traps and poison. Still a little sad they get killed, but at least they don't suffer and don't go to waste. I've been training dogs my whole life and have a working dog of my own (a service dog), and though I am sure you hear it all the time, I still wanted to say those animals are so well trained it's insane! Good work.

That good Bindi girl was so patient with you when you were loading the truck! She just stood there waiting patiently, holding the cooler and didn't mind one bit :) Such a good girl!... The thumbnail was great! I also really like the sped up footage, riding down the road. It's funny to watch in the same way that the old silent films will get a chuckle from the most ordinary things. Fast motion footage is just funny to watch, and I have zero idea why :)

Yes these minks are amazing.

Raccoons while cute are definitely killers. Had Chickens multiple times,, strengthened and upgraded it multiple times yet they kept coming. Killed 4 for of them. Thought it was all over and the next day all my chickens were dead. New one moved in that fast.

I'm mostly scared of them because of rabies. More so than opossum because they are unlikely to get rabies.

My dog Penny (9 y.o. dobie) Got sprayed by a skunk last night. Her first tough learning experience. Today i think she was out for revenge and got herself enough voles to make herself sick. Joseph, question... I have seen the canal you were at several times in previous videos... You'd think all pests were annihialated by now... Do they keep coming back? Or do you keep a few alive to use as training grounds? Last time I had rats near my home, there was nothing left alive in under a week and they never came back either... How is that in this area???

Bindi is too 🤣 You get a strike for wildlife and nature and I report videos of kids with guns in their bedrooms, trying to get them taken down. Once in awhile YT sends me a report thank you but not worth their thank you for some thing that should be monitored by the platform and def not cool censoring wildlife, nature and educational channels such as yours.

They are pests. People underestimate the damage they can do. Super smart and they will tear you up, kill your chickens and can seriously mess up your dogs. Plus they can get rabies.

@@margaretenglish7351 If you live in a urban center (Oakland CA), getting to see ANY wild mammals that are not rats is a treat. They eat out of my hand often, are always funny, and the rabies issue is EXTREMELY overblown. I have seen them be very aggressive to one another, but not to neighborhood pets.

While Rabies is a rare occurrence there is NOTHING OVERBLOWN about a ZOONOTIC 100% FATAL DISEASE. Why risk interacting with an animal that may carry the virus? Raccoons have killed my chickens and ducks. Tore up my dog resulting in a bill in thousands of dollars. They are very intelligent but there is nothing engaging about them where I live. I just hope you don't get bit while feeding them. (pray your health dept carries the antivirus and uour insurance will pay) They are a wild animal. Losing fear of humans, seeing humans as a source of food will eventually lead to disaster.

I haven't seen/heard about Sheerni(sp?) for a long time.
