To me....that engine sounds better and healthier than the v8 engines

The only good sounding small scale v8 is the conley v8, the others just sound out of timing and lazy

@@tomsrelaxationchannel2998 The conley is the king of mini engines, by a mile, but this is the closest we can get these days. I've been hoping Johnny would track down a conley since he started in mini engines.

They sound lazy because they ARE lazy^^ no torque or better said not enough torque to really use them in rc cars^^

Wasnt expecting the glass sides, that was pretty cool. Great sounding little engine, 3D printed metal trans case is pretty slick too!

Back about 35-40 years when I first got into the gas powered RC stuff this stuff was a thing of dreams. It's crazy how far the hobby has come. I would have given a million bucks for something like that when I was a teenager lol if I had it. I can't wait to see what you put this in it's going to be really awesome! Keep up the great work Johnny!

Right! I remember the first time I saw the Conly V-8.. Then I could hear Robin Leech in the background.... (lifestyles of the rich and famous) lol!

Id love to see some of these engines in a drag racing league setup. A class for 4 cylinders, V6, V8, and V12

It sounded like there was something off with 2nd gear, possibly slipping? Really cool setup though, its nice being able to hear these engines under load.

Yeah it sounded even lower than first. He cracked the code. Most efficient transmission ever created

Yea I was thinking that too. See the input rpm and then see the output rpms after each gear.

this motor sounds great, and the throttle response is awesome can't wait to see this in the car.

Things sure have come a long ways from the old days of the OS single cylinder 2-stroke engines, lol. Transmission is incredibly cool. Pretty amazing what can be made with those metal 3D printers.

Amazing gearbox! And the glass sides were good addition to the whole assembly. The engine idle sounds almost like my dads ford escort with 2.3l ohc without exhaust but little bit higher while big engine sounds deeper

One of these would be great in a RC Boat. Cooling could be handled with 'Raw' water pumped directly from the pond or pool. With a gear box for forward or reverse operation

Absolutely insane what these manufacturers are putting into these small cars. Weirdly enough the only one I haven't seen yet is a miniaturized boxer engine, like an EJ subaru engine. maybe someday!

From humble opinion, I believe the transmission should have a lot more grease in it or an extra pump to circulate & cool the transmission fluid as a lot of people I have seen by adding a radiator for the coolant & engine oil.

Wow,that smaller pulley wheel sure did add A LOT more pressure to the coolant-line! Great job on that! LOVED the clear windows You stuck on the sides too! And MAN,that think shifts VERY SMOOTHLY even without letting up on the throttle too!!! Great video!!! : >)
