Nice job man! Just a little tip, installing components should be torqued from inside out to make sure it all stays flat. Just like a sticker where you start in the middle and work your way out in a cross pattern. And after setting the timing, always turn the crank 2 revolutions by hand to make sure valves and pistons don’t collide.

When tightening things like the oil pan, valve cover, and especially the cylinder head, you should start in the middle and work to the ends in a spiral pattern. If you tightening from the outside in any warp induced will be locked in instead of flattened out.

I found this very informative as it is easier to see on this scale where every parts goes as you can just turn the entire engine upside down and film from every angle. Also helped a lot with all parts lined up like that and watching them be put on one by one.
i think the screw driver with torque selection was what really impressed me the most. Never seen it before
This has now made me interested in these kinds of model cars with working engines. looks like I found a new hobby thanks to you
I feel like this would be a good first step for someone who had little knowledge but wanted to understand the basics of how an internal combustion motor works. Ive done a bunch of accessory work like brakes, alternator, tensioner, radiators, and water pumps. A front main seal even. What I've never done is tear down a motor. Speaking of seals I'm in need of a new rear output drive shaft seal. That'll be a first.
This the coolest thing that I've ever seen in a while! I'm just starting to learn the ropes about car mechanics and I think it would be really helpful if I had an engine like this to build.
