I'd love to see an option that makes iron's colors more consistent. Iron can look white in some situations (like in iron blocks) or black in others (like in cauldrons).

The cauldron is probably black because for something of that size you would cast it, and when you use cast iron it builds up a black layer (polymerized oil and carbon)

I recently removed all my tweaks and texture packs and reorganized them and it was super satisfying so I always love getting more thanks X!!

Quieter creepers sounds like a nightmare scenario. Though I think part of the horror of creepers is in fact hearing them start hissing I suppose

Loves these updates! One major feature I would LOVE to see on the site is the ability to mark whether or not you have optifine installed (just a simple checkbox or something) so that it adjusts the compatibility labels accordingly, like for the variating zombies for example. That would make things visually a lot more clear instead of having to make mental notes about which conflicts are relevant or not

This is honestly such a crazy nice labor of love for minecraft. At this point i feel like vanilla tweaks is as iconic as something like faithful used to be!

As someone who started using Vanilla Tweeks just for the border-less glass, thank you. I feel like I grab more and more fun stuff with every update. Stuff like Beerallis and Trader Xisuma have been part of my worlds for so long that the vanilla ones feel wrong now.

I'd love to see painting thumbnails show the painting -- even tiny as it is, it'd be useful for those that don't know the painting names. And maybe dimensions in the tooltip

Xisuma. Please add a datapack that stops a mob from growing up to adult with the use of a name tag

I'd love to see a sculk options background! I use Vanilla Tweaks no matter where I'm playing and what version, and a sculk options background would be very cool indeed!

This texture pack absolutely amazes me with how much work goes into it. You guys rock, keep up the great work! Can't wait to see what new innovative stuff comes out in the future :)

Should make a datapack that converts dirt to mud in the cauldron similar to the concrete powder one

8:57 Yes! I love universal dyeing but it's frustrating when I can't mix clear and stained glass, so please do this!! Please also make it so that (for example) if you're dyeing a bunch of different wool black, you can use black too!

About the Variated Zombies, this also works with the Entity Texture Features Mod for the Fabric installer.

Quite a while back I added a rare membrane drop from bats datapack, but it also had a chance to drop a random seed.

Always love Vanilla Tweaks, simple and easy to create just the pack I need.

A third-party tool I feel is worth mentioning is a recently made mod for fabric that allows you to download VT packs in game and even edit them

I get that that the addition of the mangrove lessens the need for crimsoner crimson, but a lot of us have gotten used to having that texture and now we have to add that as a separate 1.18 resource pack.

It's crazy the coincidences I've had the past few days... I was on VT yesterday for 1.13 and was confused why the Sea Pickle was the button to select all of the Tweaks, now I know!

The best resource pack ever made since Painterly.

This is one of my favorite VT updates yet, I've been needing quieter thunder forever! I'm tired of getting jump scared by thunder when I'm underground.

Vanilla tweaks is my favorite resource pack! The textures look so good, and they improve the look of the game so much!

Still wish they kept the bat texture that they had when s6 was still going, loved how reminiscent of batman that was.

Woo hoo on the vanilla tweaks update🥳. Also, no matter how many times I see the bat head, It looks like Zedaph to me.

I have a suggestion for vanilla tweaks. I think you should add an option in the “options backgrounds” and the option is “random blocks” it’s self explanatory and I think it would be a great addition

I am just so damn grateful for Vanilla Tweaks. Genuinely makes my Minecraft experience exactly the way my brain has decided as perfect. Definitely didn't have to create this, but man do we appreciate it. Been using it since 1.15 and never ever had a single issue.

One I'd suggest, though I'm not sure if others will use it, is to reduce the volume of composters. The volume can add up fairly quickly.

Love Vanilla tweaks. First used it for deeper grass on the grass blocks end I still laugh every time I see and remember I turned the bees into Beeralisses. 🤣

The Zombie skin variants make me imagine randomly spawning Zombie "Mini-Bosses" that are one of each of the skins, each possibly having different "abilities" (more likely just items that they spawn in holding, like one of them could spawn in with flint&steel and set you on fire when they hit you)
