I did some Bodyguard work for Mindy in her heyday. She was so sweet. I got birthday cards and Christmas cards from her for years after I worked for her. My wife was so jealous. Sad the life she had at the end. Rest Easy Mindy

I used to listen to this when I was married. I hoped that one day he would see the pain in me. That if I was a good enough wife and Mama that he would love me like I loved him. And that he would stop hitting me. But that never happens and I finally was strong enough to leave after losing one of the most precious people in my life. My oldest son, Dylon. I knew that's what he would have wanted and I realized the pain my kids went through because I stayed all those years. Just because he didn't hit them I thought it could be fixed. I will never forgive myself for that.

I went thru a lot of mental and emotional abuse with a narcissist. It is a very real thing. The trauma bonding is what holds us in that relationship. In any toxic relationship it is that way. I'm getting help and recovering from the abuse.

My heart goes out to you sister in Christ. I am so sorry for your loss. We have 2 Dylan's in my family. One sweet day we will all be reunited with all of our loved ones. About 6years ago I finally left my 1st husband,father of my kids, who was toxic and abusive towards me. The pain lingers on still so strongly and even though it doesn't make sense to me or any1 else, I miss him every day. Well, I miss the person he was without the demons. I tried to love him and be good like you said too and then I tried to remarry and move on but I still have alot of work to do on myself. We have to forgive ourselves and the men, for our sake. I pray for you and anyone else with a similar situation. God bless you.

Seen her in concert in Chapel Hill N.C. Well i was in the Marine Corps. Either 96 or 97. Me and 3 other Marines where there between songs she came off stage shook are hands and kissed each of us on the cheek. And said thank you. All I could think was dam your beautiful.

Mindy was a drug addict that took her own life on the steps that her ex took his life as well. No one is immune to pain and heart ache. I miss her voice so terribly. 😊

When I was a teen I was going through a bunch of shit. I had never written a letter to a "celeb" and I haven't since, but I did write to Mindy when I was feeling pretty far in a hole - She wrote me back a personal letter that was a couple of pages long and let me know she got it. I wish I could've returned the favor. What a generous heart.

I feel this Virginia and I think that is exactly why some don't leave the abusive partner or that it takes a long time before they do, because we miss and love that person they were before the abuse, before the demons. We think maybe if we hold on and love them it will stop and they will be the one we fell in love with again. Because leaving hurts just as bad as staying. I have been living that for over 6years now. One of the toughest decisions is realizing just because you love someone does not mean you all are supposed to spend the rest of your lives together. That's always the toughest to know men take advantage of the love we give freely then dash it asunder. It's pitiful. I spent 10 years in a relationship filled with false promises. Mindy had such a wonderful voice I have all her CD's and play her all the time no I didnt know her personally she fought alot of demons its just so sad that the demons won I hope God had mercy on her soul and my heart breaks that she is no longer here and I feel for her 2 sons Zander and Zayne they never got a chance to know how wonderful and talented their mother really was and in February 2020 it will be 7 years since she left I only wished she got the help she needed if I was her friend I would've done the best for her been there for her and not let her take her own life but sadly we I didn't get the chance. God is watching her now where she is and will always be Loved. RIP Mindy fly high with the Angel's. You are deeply missed by your fans.

Will always miss her heartfelt vocals and of course her beauty! I do blame Country Radio and her record label for NOT pushing her music more often that they did!

Mindy was the "Face of Domestic Violence". No one is worth taking your life. Every 33 minutes, a woman is abused, & at least 3 will die at the hands of the person who was supposed to protect her. God bless Mindy. Singing with the Angels Mindy. 🙏

I met her in person she was she was a angel and I loved her so much I really miss her very much I think about her God get a angel 😇

It’s so sad that Mindy is gone, she became one of my favorite singers from the first time I heard her. The pain she was in to take her own life must have been just horrible. Mindys voice was so incredibly beautiful, I’m so glad I can still listen to her, I often wonder how meany more beautiful songs she would have wrote and performed.

Truly beyond sad. You know we always think the people when they raise themselves to a certain amount of Fame. They've got it all. And she truly showed us all that anybody could fragile. And the way she took her life and the dog that was with her. It was just heartbreaking. And we all know she's at peace she's not lost anymore God bless her. And her family.💕🙏💕🙏💕
