Just want to check in on you. My journey of being unplugged started 11/3/20. I unfortunately was married to someone for 14 years together for 16 when this happen. We had become one so the process for our youngest daughter (who was still in the home) and myself when the brain scrambling started took 2 years before I realized he wasn’t just going through something and still the man I thought I knew. 10/22/22 I made the decision to give up cause I had been the only one trying to save a marriage while he spent everything by manipulating me that we had acquired over those years that was equitable. It wasn’t much…..around 150K but a good start to a retirement in our 40’s. I know when your reality is shattered it’s like being gutted with such a huge, and jagged edge….more like chainsaw massacre that on top of that pain all the sudden you realize to truly heal you’re going to have to start with the childhood trauma that molded you into being the perfect curtain for the Wizard of Oz that hid in plain site with you for so many years. There was no way as big as that cut was that I could just shove everything back inside and act like it didn’t happen or that it was “ok” like everything else in my life I had made excuses for, for everyone else. So piece by piece I went to work. There was times of so much pain emotionally that physically I couldn’t take it and screamed out loud being all alone. People/family I had always been there for where nowhere to be found. I was completely alone and that’s where God picked me up from. Today I have had my own place in this crazy expensive world since 12-1-22 and I just landed a great career (something I’ve never done) in the beginning of March 2024. This journey of life when it takes you all the way down…..if you’re strong and do the work…….will lift you up hire than you’ve ever been. There’s times you want to give up BUT DONT….keep going. I pray you’re doing well and have either or are on your way of learning true self love in the most emotionally healthy way possible. Much love, Tiff

Nearly two decades and a half since this song broke out on the charts, it hasn't lost any of its shine. The incredible Lorrie Morgan is at the top of her game as always. I've burnt out the CD looping it hundreds of times. But this is simply a song you can't get outta your head.

She is a real powerhouse in Country Music. All she's been through in her own life allows her to own her songs. For sure, we're all blessed to know her.

For some reason when a man ends the relationship, the woman is blamed. I don't get that at all!! I'm going thru that now too. We really connected with each other. We have a lot in common. He told me all the time he loved me!! He was very kind, caring, handsome, and gorgeous!! Suddenly he changed. Never gave me a reason. The last call from him, he was just fine. Then all of a sudden he doesn't want our relationship to go any farther. Without an explanation, I am very upset, puzzled by his behavior, and a bit angry at him now. I am not young so it's time for me to just stop thinking about MEN!! I've never understood them to begin with!! They can stare U in the face & LIE!! I hate liars!! He lied to me more than once. The JERK!!!

I listen to this song and I love to sing along with Lorrie Morgan....but, my husband is true blue and after 32 years of marriage I don't think this will ever happen to us. It is a very moving song though, for anyone who has been through this. What a beautiful voice Lorrie has. She will forever be in my top 3 female vocalists.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

in 1993 a woman took my then husband from me. She did me the best favor ever. I married another man after him. We married afteronly dating for MONTHS, We never fought or argued and were happy for 25 plus years until he died.

This was my husband😪He left this world on 1/17/22. Drugs took him 1st and he left us all. I loved him no matter what. He's home with me now. His ⚱️ sits at the foot of my bed. Don't know why I took over. Guess because of my children & grandchildren. Let them say goodbye. This song makes me rethink it all!!

My daughter sang this for a recording contract. She landed it but they wanted to quit in the middle of her Senior year....She told them NO WAY. She wanted to enjoy her life as @ 17. FYI She has turn down 2 since because the same reasons leave her family and children, So glad she refused.
