I have used this "looking for hearts" method for YEARS and it works. I use a black circle, i.e. a hair tie. It is incredible how when I am in doubt all of a sudden there is a black hair tie, everywhere in public, and in my home...even when I was bald for year with cancer, somehow, hair ties everywhere, a communication network between my mind and the outer world, confirmation of "girl, life is working in your favor, KEEP GOING!" 3 years cancer free now!!

Our mindset shapes the direction of our lives. Sadly do due to childhood trauma, many of us have developed self-destructive ways of thinking. The good news is that our brains are neuroplastic and we can change those pathways ♥️

Marisa Peer has devised Rapid Transformational Hynotherapy (RTT) in which you go back to instances if childhood trauma and reprogram your mind. She is on youtube. It's helped me a lot. Many of us may have complex-PTSD if the trauma went on for years but even so, pulling out the most prominent memories and fixing them really helps. I used her free content but then signed up for a course which I have for life. In case it helps anyone 🙏❤

Thanks Mel! You are so incredibly awesome! I got out of an unhealthy long relationship in 2020 and have been thriving ever since-- I have taken all the positive energy to get back to me and having been living in joy and gratitude.. Nothing but good is happening! And hopefully, I may have just met the "right guy" for me just recently! Still in the getting to know him phase, but so far so good. Even if it doesn't work out, that's OK because I am so secure with myself. And I know it will happen. Thanks for reminding us again to only put energy into the positives and the future VS going back into past negative thoughts. Thoughts beget action! And we are what we think! Change your thinking, change your life!

I am so amazed by the level of sincerity and transparency that Mel has in her way of reaching out to her public . It gives me the confidence to try and speak my truth without being judged or rejected and when it does happen ,I think this person was not a genuine friend to have around anyway. I love all the research done and all the metaphors used in every subject. So much work ,so much effort to help us be better humans and create a better world around us. Million thanks from an Idian women ,born in Paris and caught between 2 opposite cultures Much Love

Hand to hand combat with your mind...that's exactly right. It gets very difficult to keep going when you have a barrage of crap handed to you within a span of 2 years. I could list it all, but I wouldn't be unique in this situation. Life just kicked my *ss, and it's so difficult to see the hearts. The hardest thing is when your main touchstone (in this case, my sister) succumbs to cancer. She was always the one to see the hearts in everything.

Over the last 3 yr I’ve funneled down to despair since pandemic isolation & listened to your podcast every single night during my 3:15 am wake up What thing anxiety and not being able to go back to sleep and your podcast would call me down and make practical sense and give me tools to help me. Listening to this again for at least the 10th time as I listen for four hours till I fall back to sleep for an hour in AM, this identifies my mind exactly is that a spiral down to South dark depression hopelessness and sadness and I’m trying to claw my way out! So thank you Mel… I used to be so happy, social, positive & now I’m spending more and more time alone because I don’t want people to see how sad I really am… It’s harder to fake happiness now! Thank you Mel for all you do!

Love this and you, Mel! You put complex ideas so simply. So, I was out on my lunch break walk (practicing my self care) when I was listening to this. I saw tons of heart shapes in the divots in the sidewalk and then when I got home, I looked up at the refrigerator and saw the giant heart on my Cheerios box. I love this exercise! I’m gonna keep it up. I’ve already been working on re-wiring my brain and this is another excellent tool! ❤

I love you Mel you are really raw and brutally honest! "... it's not about positive thinking, you and I are talking about training your mind to work for you. That's very different! This is not about toxic positivity. I'm not asking you to put a positive spin on a shitty situation! I'm also very clear that thinking nice thoughts is not going to get your bills paid! However if you can get serious and intentional and strategic about training your mind to have a rosier, more empowered and optimistic attitude you my friend will be able to say to yourself I can do this!''

I founder Mel when i needed the most...searching for answers that just lead to more confusing questioning..questions that became confusing and starts to give me anxiety that drove me deeper into my own shit to where my brain literally automatically shut down..but with Mel..shes calm and collected to where shes so detailed with the most simplest explanations and view. To where it makes everything make sense to where it got me replaying this session over n over again. The first time i sat down and focus on this video literally broke me into tears...and it has touched me in so many ways. Thank you Mel.

Dear Mel, I listen and love You from Poland. Today I got my morning jogging with your podcast about mindset. I really want to share with You my favorite visualization about it. Here it is (please excuse my English) : Imagine a man in bus, he's going back home from work. He's standing and thinking: - I hate my job, it socks - my boss is a monster - I don't get along with my wife, she's bitch, always argue with me for no reson - and my health get worse And there's an angel standing next to this man with a notebook, writing... And the angel says: - hmmm, strange wishes...

Hi. I'm 71 years old and I still struggle with the need to please people and to avoid displeasing people. Being aware of it is one thing; knowing that there's a way to change it is something else - and that is what I feel you may have just given me. And for that I am really grateful. It's late at night now; tomorrow I shall see hearts.
