Mike Tyson ferocious here but hasn't reached his very best yet . Tillis got some serious battering but came to fight as if he were a champion. He knew how to use his height advantage unlike most other opponents. Crédits to both.

In 1987 , a year later after this fight Tyson continued sparring with Tillis and you can see the improvements in Tyson in now being able to catch Tillis much easier than in this fight.

In fact Holmes had retired for 20 months before coming back into the ring. Berbick's only claim to fame is to have beaten an old tired Ali in the beginning stages of Parkinsons. Mike had stopped growing as a fighter long before Buster Douglas. Stopped the Great head movement, quit coming out methodically cutting off the ring, and started the little skip step straight at the opponent. Just lost the discipline that made him so great early on. His corner was a bunch of thugs that knew less about boxing than Mike. Didn't even have an ice pack, used a rubber glove with cold water in it.
