I was cheering hard for Lennox in this fight, but Mike's intro to What's My Name is still the most badass entrance I've ever seen... boxing, wrestling, MMA, you name it!

I'm here for the DMX song because I still remember that night when Tyson walked in and you heard "Whats my naaame?" RIP DMX !

You can see it in Tyson's eyes he doesn't want to be anywhere near a boxing ring. At this point in his life he was just fighting for the money. What a shame to see one of the all time greats in his prime entering the ring looking like this. Prime Tyson dismantles Lewis easily.

Aa JV yeah I agree. Young MT beats Lewis, but definitely not easily. I think the fight would look similar to Tyson vs Holmes, where Mike would duck to the inside of Lewis’ jab and destroy his body with punches and combos on the inside, then go head-hunting in the later rounds when Lewis is tired and weak

@The Anthropologist _Forensic In My opinion, Mike Tyson is the best heavyweight in history. The guy was beaten down by life and people railroading him..... He would have been undefeated if it was not for Givens and King..... maybe 1 or 2 losses but that would have been it.

What was even better was Lennox Lewis' entrance right after this when he came out to Crazy Bald Head... Classic

Yeah it’s sad to see him like that. Well, it is what it is, he was having hard times on these days but now he is a happy man. I am really glad to see that he finally founds own peace and happiness in his life.

Marciano is up there for his undefeated heavyweight record, Sugar for his ridiculously successful career and Ali for his influence and ability to bounce back, Louis was one of the most important fighters of all time, helped recussitate a dying sport and also has a great record.

Killer instinct was gone. Mike wasn't fighting for anything other than a payday at this point. He was an emotional wreck, had been bilked out of millions by hangers on and there wasn't any motivation to be the killer he used to be. Once Rooney left he was surrounded by nothing but yes men who told him he was unbeatable and he fell into it. The lunatic sparring sessions and obliterating heavy bags in training weren't needed anymore (in his head) because there was absolutely no one there to motivate him anymore and tell him to keep working and keep getting better. People say Cus dying was his downfall but it was ultimately when he got rid of Rooney and people who genuinely gave a fuck about him that ended his aura of invincibility. Glad to see Mike is mentally in a good place now but always hate looking back and wondering what could have been had Mike had people around him who actually had his career in their best interest. They didn't. And Mike didn't know any better, but why would he? His Rolls Royce ran out of gas so he just left it. He didn't think that the money would ever stop no matter how many snakes there were robbing him.

you and I view this 100% exactly the same. I've been so intrigued by this man that I've basically watched every documentary on him and watched every single fight he's had. the best specimen that has every laced up a pair of gloves. if only he could've kept his focus and discipline that he learned from the beginning with cus atlas and rooney, he could've been even greater than he was.

Tyson was by far the most exciting fighter for many years.Past his best by this time but i believe Lennox would have beaten him had a peak Lewis met a peak Tyson. Too mobile,too big and too good.Tyson was never the same since he left Rooney as he lost his inner discipline.He allowed himself to listen to DK`s bs who told him what he wanted to hear.The rest is history.
