Hi Scott, Love your videos. Most helpful. I have an F51 error as soon as I turn on my G1234 SC Miele Dishwasher ... from my reading this is a faulty heater relay or heater pressure switch. Is that a correct diagnosis given the error code? Oh yeah, there is whirring sound too which I assume is the dishwasher trying to drain when empty? No water in dishwasher ....

Hi Scott I have a Miele G665 plumbed to the cold and the water does not get hot only luke warm. The heater has 240v 8A only on main wash cycle for 3-4 mins then drains. All other cycles are cold. Water level is correct. Do you think its the thermostat? My machine has 65c and 55c but makes no difference in temp. I cannot find thermostats. Can only find 80C safety cut out on heater. Hi Mark, I know they do best if incoming water is already at 120 degrees Fahrenheit. That round silver thing in the sump area below the filter is the temperature sensor. They’re cheap. You can order one from MIELE USA and replace it.

Hi, thanks for the video. If this heater/pressure switch is dead, will the machine turn on at all? I'm asking based on the situation I've found myself in with my machine this week.... I seemed to have this issue develop in my Miele G 646 SC PLUS this week, the water was sitting at the bottom, but interestingly that error light didn't come on. I came home yesterday to find my dishwasher completely 'dead' and an odd smell (I think electrical burning, but may be from the machine itself?). I'd left it on a cycle and been out. Coming home I found it had no power. The breaker switch on my consumer unit had tripped and the fuse in the power extension bar's plug (meant to be a surge protector) had blown. Sorting the fuse issue, the unit still will not power on at all, no lights. Any thoughts on what's happened, could it have overheated and tripped something as it couldn't drain? Any pointers for what's likely to be wrong in the machine or whether it's time for a replacement? Thanks in advance.

Hi Scott, great videos man. Any ideas about an F24 code on a G6300. Heater relay replaced by Tech. F24 immedate on short cycle and about 20mins in on a longer cycle. Any help appreciated.

Did you ever work it out? I am getting F24 on the same model, have tested the relay out of circuit and its working fine.

Scott, thank you for your time in doing these videos, very helpful! I have a similar problem with my Miele G6470 SCVi Dishwasher (2015 - 5 years old) where it stops and displays 'Water Intake' at the end of any of the ECO or Sensor wash programmes but works fine on Normal and Intensive. I can work around the problem by selecting Short Wash at the end of ECO but, meanwhile, I am using Normal. At first, I cleaned everything (intake filter was blocked, non-return valve had a piece of debris in it) and then, I assumed it was the Intake Valve (based upon other uTube videos) so I replaced it but that didn't fix it. Does this sound like it could be the Heater/Pressure Switch?

Scott, if I figure out which one then I will let you know which sensor is used by ECO/Sensor programmes and not by the the others.

I would check to make sure that the drain line from the dishwasher is clear. If you can disconnect it from underneath the sink and put it into a bucket and then see if it will drain.
