Another common problem with these Bosch drain pumps are that the impeller over time slides forward on the shaft and then gets stuck on the white clip. All you need to do is just push the impeller back further onto the shaft. 🙃

Hey brother I have this same washer, I’ve fixed the wax motor but ran into a new issue the washer red light won’t turn on when I try to start the washer. Sometimes the red light will tuen on for a sec. And then it makes a click then turns off. Any advice? Thank you!

Maybe the R11 resistor on the control board is fried and needs to be replaced. That resistor controls the wax motor.

We had this same issue. Tried all suggestions online but nothing worked. Called Miele and the technician said this is a common problem in old dishwashers. The level control switch was defective. He removed the left panel and it was on the bottom. The cost was C$100. The labour was C$300. The part number from Miele is :Level Control 5 419 695.

Hi Scott. My oven tripped the high temp alarm -- now I've located the temp sensor and trying to reset it. However, it's still not "resetting" and the oven won't heat up. How much of a "click" should there be with that sensor; and what is the life or one of those sensors? Thank you very much.

@@ScottTheFixItGuyChannel that helps a lot. The black button cover is missing from mine, so it is a tiny white button that is so narrow it hurts to try to push down. I physically can't seem to apply enough pressure with my finger to click it. I'll need to try to use some sort of hard surface or tool to click it... I'll go give it another try when I have time

Scott - loved the video! I'm trying to troubleshoot a GE dishwasher of mine that looks almost exactly like the one in your video. It stops mid-cycle. No error messages, no blinking lights, no nothing - it just decides to stop sometime in the middle of the wash cycle and shut down. I got the service manual and was able to get to Consumer Error Mode and see a "56" error code - seems to indicate "Failure to Drain", but there's no water in the tub. I have a high loop on the side and no air gap. Drain hose is connected to garbage disposal. For code "56", the service manual just says "Review Training Bulliten TB11-20", but I can't find that anywhere on the internet. Hope you can help!

I don’t have any issues with the drain line freezing but the problem I do have is the block of ice over the copper lines above the coil like shown at the 0:35 mark in your video. Pulled the back panel off and saw the ice block. Thanks in advance for any insights!
