Hello. I like this approach Mr. Singer. The first of its kind I listen to. But it makes me think that I need to start all over again for all the long time that passed in my existence. Maybe I had better encounter such in depth analysis half a century earlier or more. Thank you.

I really find Michael a great teacher, he is very clear and easy to follow. I also like Ekhart Tolle but today I was listening to Ekhart and he was talking about not using your will power to resist things. Yet Michael I think encourages one to develop the muscle of will. I wondered how the two approaches can coexist?

Mickey is talking about using the will to stop yourself from responding to things unconsciously, to pause before you react and recognize when you get pulled out of observer mode. It’s never about using the will to resist life.

I understood Michael to say you use the power of will to focus awareness on consciousness instead of allowing thoughts of the mind and feelings of the heart to distract awareness from what comes in through the five senses. ❤ What comes in through the five senses is always what has been experienced from the past.

Jai Guru Dev, Jai Masters. Jai Guru Dev is a traditional Hindu phrase that means Glory to the Great Teacher (the most accurate translation would be glory to the shining remover of darkness), where the great teacher here is generally considered to be the Divine Soul, while we, as human beings, are considered the individuated Soul. Jai Masters means Glory to the Masters, some of whom Singer refers to at times.

So I asked who the one see’s the thoughts and who the one that feels the emotions ? But then what like how do you focus on your conscious being after you say them two questions??

The one who “sees” the thoughts is not the one who is asking who sees the thoughts. In my experience beginning with such differentiation supports “resting into” awareness/witnessing …hope this helps

Wow, it's amazing that that's what you got from the message, you totally missed the part where he's helping you to free yourself from the trauma or you'll be living in it for the rest of your life...Secondly, how do you know he never been through any trauma and was able to free himself and now he's sharing with you how you can do the same?

  • @lindamallard1730

Everyone experiences trauma differently therefore everyone doesn't experience someone else's theory of healing the same, his experience of how to heal doesn't necessarily fit with others
