Michael Jai White Epic Kick during Keenen Ivory Wayan Show 1997

#FBF when I appeared on The Keenen Ivory Wayan's Show around the time of Spawn's release. It's wild to think how long ago this was and I'm pretty glad I can say that my passion for training martial arts & challenging myself every day has only gotten stronger since then! 🥋 👊🏾

The fact that he kicked OVER the glass the first try was enough for me.

I've followed MJW since the mid 90's. We had to study those considered the best martial artist in the world. This man is by far the most disciplined and complete martial artist I have ever seen. Most people think he is an actor who knows martial arts, but in actuality he is a martial artist who happens to be a great actor.

@@duanen2337 maybe you can challenge him and we'll record to show as prove that he can fight. By the way, I have seen footage of him in competitions, he can fight, he prefers acting than being a professional fighter, loads more money and less damage to the body. You don't have to be an MMA fighter in the UFC to show to everyone that you can fight. I think that kick alone says a lot, you have to be skilled to perform a move like that, imagine what else he can do.
MJW’s been doing this ever since he was old enough. I’m glad he’s finally getting his recognition not as a martial artist but as a serious action hero actor in Hollywood. He’s our modern day Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee.

By the way, Michael Jai White, came here to Virginia(mind you, I'm from Hawaii on the island of Oahu but now live here on the East Coast). I went to see him because there was some kind of show/party that was happening. He came to Stafford, Virginia down by a boating dock/lake area. Back then, years ago, he was a little bit heavier than he was in this youtube video...
And this is why he's a legend So charismatic and pretty much everything to inspire to. I love this man to this very goddamn day Man I love Keegan Ivory Wayans ...............Michael Jai White is okay I guess
