Hello my cleaning friends and welcome to Mia’s home! Mia’s home was filled with chaos and she asked for my help. She was struggling with alcohol, cigarettes and fast food. I found a lot of dirty, moldy dishes and you know I love that! This cleaning felt sentimental for me because it could be me in this situation. Towards the end of this video I am going to tell you a secret of mine I havenmt told anyone before. It is something that I have wanted to keep but since I love you quys I feel safe Sharing it with you ❤️

This is not just a "cleaning channel". It`s a story about an angel that brings help and joy in other peoples lifes. People that are dealing with lots of problems. How could anybody NOT be interested in YOUR mental and physical health? At first YOU need to be okay, before you can help others. Take care of you in the same way you do for others. I wish you all the best! Many greetings from Germany! 😘

I totally agree. Auri, you are an angel and why wouldn’t we be interested in how you overcame your own struggles? You bring so much joy to others. You’re an inspiration. Knowing that you are also human with the same challenges makes you more relatable and hearing how you overcame your challenges gives us hope. Lots of love from Indiana, USA

This video really had me sobbing. Me and Mia are so similar. Both work in hectic healthcare, both of our flats look the same, both moved to a dream place that turned into a nightmare, both turned to fast food and nicotine to deal with the stress of it all. I'm completely alone trying to sort my flat up and the shame has prevented me from telling anyone about what's happened. To see you treating her like a normal human being is something i needed to hear - if i can't convince myself i deserve to live in a nice environment, you've really helped. After 6 months i've started my deep clean today and now the bathroom is finally useable for the first time in months. My biggest fear is the kitchen but i will face it tonight. What you do is helping so many people beyond just the physical jobs you do, I hope you know that.

You can do it! I lived like that (my kitchen was much worse in fact). One day, I decided when I use one item I will clean 2 in return. And then I deep-cleaned my sink. And I startet to clean my whole kitchen. It took 16 days (!!!) to clean the kitchen to a somewhat okay level. Then I went from room to room, everyday 15 minutes cleaning, decluttering and tidying stuff up. I had so much trash in the house it was unbelievable and it really disgusted myself. But as in a lot of videos of Aurikatariina: I went through a severe depression. I survived. I tried to be kinder to myself. Over a period of three months I turned my messy and disgusting house into a home. You can do it too. Just don't try to change too much too soon. Grow with the changes. Clean your sink or your bathroom or whatelse helps you to feel an instant reward. Keep THIS spot clean. Clean it every day. That just takes minutes. The cleanliness will 'spread'. It far easier to let the clean spot 'grow' over time then to clean everything at once. Be kind to yourself. You are strong enough. You can survive the mess and turn your homelife around

While my house isn’t messy, (cleaning is my stress relief) I can relate to ignoring bills, working a lot and sticking my head in the sand. After a few years of this, I told my parents and they told me what I needed to do. They said they wished I had said something sooner, but I was embarrassed and ashamed. Thanks for sharing your story, Auri. Eating disorders can be so sneaky. It takes weeks of disordered eating before negative side effects start to show, and by then you are already stuck in your habits. Whether its over-eating or under-eating, its so easy to fall in to something unhealthy and get stuck. It can happen to anyone.

As a nurse who works in a hospital I know how hard it is to take of myself after 12 hour shifts of giving all I have to my patients. I’ve fallen into a bad habit of not showering for days if I don’t have to work. As you talked about this woman not having the energy to clean her home I realized I was doing the same thing to my self. Just knowing why I’ve been doing this will help me change my self care habits. Thank you Auri!

Thank you for your service to mankind. Here is a trick I recommended to my clients. Set a timer for ten minutes. Choose a project that most needs doing. Then work as hard and as fast as you can for that ten minutes and ONLY that ten minutes. Do that once a day. Congratulate yourself! After a while you may feel like doing TWO or maybe even THREE ten minute sessions a day. The trick is to not overwhelm yourself with huge, complex tasks. The trick is to NOT exhaust yourself. Good luck to you. All the best.

Cleanliness and beauty are great virtues to practice in a daily life. Adding a few flowers here and there, cleaning one room everyday. Usually when we think about beauty as a quality we consider only our appearance, external validation, but as a Virtue, beauty is order, balance, light. We can and must bring it to our homes, our minds will thank us.

I really resonated with your story, I’m also a cleaner who doesn’t like taking breaks and for years iv skipped breakfast and lunch and only started recently packing food for myself. You’ve definitely given me something to think about. Oh and on another note I really love when you show your organising skills and show the before and after in draws and cupboards, very satisfying.

Whoa, an Auri video where you have access to a vacuumer! Also, there is so much value in your struggles. I appreciate is because there is so much depth to you aside from just cleaning, and it makes the cleaning videos that much better! I feel that there are lots of people who can also benefit from hearing you talk about different things like this. Lots of love 🩷

I can relate so much. When everything in my life feels out of control, I also use control over food to feel better. Although I am personally diagnosed with eating disorders, it could also be a form of self harm or just a coping mechanism. I think it’s incredibly brave of you to share this. I’ve realized this is a common thing and it helps knowing we aren’t alone in tough situations like this ❤ talking openly about it is a great way to break the stigma too!

I’ve had moments that I was down that my home was horrible, maybe still not so bad as this one, but I watch it and I feel that it’s so easy to be trapped suddenly when you’re feeling miserable… your videos REALLY give me strength to not let my home dirty anymore, if it’s getting messy I come and see a video, try a new product (love scour daddy) or a new technique, or just do the bare minimum and take out the trash and then little by little it also helps me feel better ❤️ thanks auri, you’re really SO inspiring

Thank you for sharing about your personal experiences. It was a very brave thing to share, and it will help others facing the same problem to recognize they need help, too. In a recent video, you mentioned that some people leave mean remarks about your English, and I'm so sorry they do! It is also very brave of you to have a KZread channel speaking in a new language. (English is my first language, and I feel honored that you have worked so hard to be able to communicate with me. You speak English very well!) I really enjoy hearing Finnish when you share words with us.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU ❤️ Although my house is nowhere near as dirty as the places you clean, I find that its hard for me to maintain cleaning when I live alone. Everytime I watch your videos it inspires me to tackle a project-like cleaning the toilet, cleaning my oven, and other things I never thought of cleaning before. I actually was inspired by the products you use, since I wasnt sure what worked. I became obsessed with scrub mommy because of you haha, and LOVE that it has two different sides. I also didnt realize Crif cleaner wasnt here in america, so I ordered a ton from the UK and had it shipped to me. That cleaner works for EVERYTHING and is a lifechanger, so thank you!!! You’ve literally changed my whole lifestyle and helped me to better myself ❤️

Yes, I think it is important to talk about mind issues in this channel, even through it's about cleaning because, in fact, the house only reflects what they are feeling inside, these people need help. When you talk about your strugglings, you get close to us, this could be the house of any of us... When you clean someone's house, you are helping the owner, of course, but your videos are helping millions of people, who might be going through the same situation, or other emotional issues that can lead them to have a house like this and they understand that they are not alone and there IS hope for them ✨🙏🏽 Hugs from Brazil 🇧🇷
