Free Cleaning for a Floridian Family 🇺🇸

Hi! I’m Aurikatariina and I clean my followers homes’ for free! ❤️
Today we are in sunny Miami with my mom ❤️ we are cleaning for a lovely single mom and her two kids ages 17 and 6. This family is extra special because you are going to see their reaktion after the cleaning!!!! And trust me! You are going to want to see it. This home is the moms childhood home and she has lived here since she was born. Her father passed away a while ago which has made their situation only worse. Also the kids father left the family and the mom has been struggling with the home since. The kids were so lovely, the younger one kept offering us money for the cleaning and was constantly asking questions and telling stories. It was so cute ❤️ You can see from the video that this family also had a lot of cats and more animals which you can see from next weeks video!
Bathroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning, living room cleaning, Organizing, deep cleaning, satisfying results, before and after pictures

    You should team up with a carpet cleaning company that is based in Florida that has a KZread channel. After you clean they could do the carpets. People would love!

    One observation: It looks like they have bad water. I had a lot of iron in my water at my old house. Everyting would turn orange within 2 days after cleaning. My hair had a green tint and my white clothes were rusty looking.

    @Eventide215

    It's pretty common in older houses. It'd be very likely in an older house that has been trashed to this level too. They likely need new piping. What usually happens is older pipes start to rust cause they were iron and that rust then gets into the water causing a high iron content and causing all the problems you mentioned.

  • @hellogawgous

    @hellogawgous

    18 күн бұрын

    Yikes. Would a water softener help with that or no? Iron is inside the pipes?

  • @Eventide215

    @Eventide215

    18 күн бұрын

    @@hellogawgous As I mentioned, the iron is likely from the pipes themselves rusting. It's not actually dangerous to drink but it will do all the things mnmomify mentioned. Newer pipes are made of copper which won't rust. At that point if there's iron in their water they'd need to contact their water company to find the source. If they can't get their piping replaced (it's definitely expensive) then the next best thing would be to put filters on all the taps and showers. Only downside there is the filters need replaced like every 3-6 months or so.

    As someone who lived for several years with a messy, cluttered and admittedly dirty home due to depression, your passion for helping these families without shame or judgement is so beautiful. For anyone wondering “how can they live like this” I can tell you that perspective is everything. There’s no conscious decision to live like this - it happens by degrees and can quickly get out of control and feel insurmountable. Even brushing your teeth feels like pushing a boulder uphill when depressed, so please be kind. ❤

What went unnoticed and accepted as normal before is now fully within their power to change and control. The kids will be able to clean and help heal their mother. So glad to know the vibe in the house was good. I'm optimistic for this family.

    @@Lichtersee Not everywhere. In many countries, even young kids have their tasks. I remember growing up with dusting, mopping the floor, bringing the trash out and walking the dog as my main responsibilities. If we cooked something, I was always tasked with chopping things up or removing the parts that needed to be removed (Cherry seeds, for example). Oh, and handwashing and hanging laundry (washing machine is a luxury item in many countries. Sure, it was tedious and boring as hell, but it helped me to learn the basics of housekeeping from the young age and the general necessity of keeping up with your chores.

    I was a messy child in keeping my room clean. But when my mom got cancer I started doing all the cleaning. I think it took me longer to learn by myself. I should of paid attention to my mom's skills. I did learn on my own, and would of liked youtube cleaning experts to show me how to save time. Now I help others when its needed. I know what its like to go through depression. Losing both parents, uncles and even most important my son. Some people become immobile. Some become cleaning machines. I became a cleaning maniac. It helped me through the worst times of my life. But I remember just wanting to hide in my room and not deal with life. We are all different. Glad Auri explains to others its okay. And love how she helps others with a laugh and a smile.

    @@Mrs.TJTaylorI never said that. But in my lived experience. Most women, especially single moms suffer from it, especially today. Seems epidemic. When good fathers return back to the home. Mental illness will subside. For mothers who are suffering alone in it, they are unwittingly teaching their children to identify with it instead of overcoming it. A father in the home teaches their kids to overcome, not stay in emotion. Emotion feeds the ego. And we know where the ego takes people. Not to a good place. Anyhow. I do wish her well and hope she seeks mental wellness and health to break free from her thoughts.

Their recommendation has you using double the amount on your carpets than you realize you really need and even after they dry just run some clear hot water over it and you'll find out when using the recommended amount of cleaner! Good job! I really hope the family will be able to maintain the result of your hardwork I always expect some complicated/traumatic backstory behind a house in such a condition. I just wanted to share my story with a messy house. I have always had an organized mess of a place - not exactly the cleanest, but i knew where everything was. And I heavily neglected the whole process of cleaning. Nothing was done unless I had guests😅 And it lasted for almost four years. The dirt was not the most noticeable thing, it was more about how well you know where to look - oven handles, under the bath, under the fridge, behind the toilet and all that. I simply didn't care enough to clean it. And around two months ago I lost my cat. She had a sudden and rapid pulmonary edema from heart failure in the middle of the night. It took less than half an hour for her to go from a perfectly fine (on the outside at least) and active cat to death. The whole situation hit me like a truck. The first week I was sleeping 16 hours a day and most of the time awake I was hallucinating - hearing sounds of a cat suffocating. And after I cleaned what my cat had left on the floor (my poor baby peed herself while she was convulsing), something just shifted in my brain. Not only I started doing the cleaning regularly and willingly, but I also managed to remove all signs of me living here for the last four years. I spent a handful of money (with a help from my mom) on a new set of furniture, shelves, containers for organizing and, of course, cleaning stuff😂 right now I'm in the process of sorting all my posessions and putting it back into a new huge wardrobe. I still have a long way to go regarding making my house better, and somehow I'm not scared of it. I'm kind of excited, to be completely honest. And the videos on this channel really motivate me to keep going. After all, it's me who's gonna have to live in here. I genuinely appreciate the creator's work to create better living conditions for people. Right now I really do understand how hard it is. And it's safe to say that very few people are as lucky (if you even can call it that) as me when it comes to dealing with traumatic experience. If you read the whole thing - thank you very much. Wishing the best to everyone who finds themselves in a tough spot right now ❤❤❤

    i love watching videos like this, my older brother died in 2016 and it made my mom very depressed, i was only 7 when it happened so i didn't understand why my mom wasn't cooking or cleaning or taking care of me and my 3 sisters. my grandma took my little sister in and raised her, and me and my sisters stayed with my parents, so me and my twin started cooking and cleaning, not very good, but it was the best we could do as children, my mom isnt as depressed anymore, but i still cook and clean the house, my twin focus' on her school work more.

    Kids should not be living like this. It's sweet that the older boy kept asking if you were OK, but I wonder if it's because he's used to taking care of his mother. Probably has a lot on his shoulders.

    Yeah. She should probably give the cats to a no kill shelter. I don’t have pets because the food and vet visits and wellness visits are expensive. She could use that money towards her children, a therapist, and maybe someone to help maintain the home.

    I think that’s a Bissel Pet vacuum. It looks like a Dyson, but the box at the beginning of the video didn’t look like Dyson and there’s a small icon on front of the vacuum that looks like an older model Bissel logo. Bissel currently sells a pet vac that has purple trim which might be the one used in the video. Bissel is more economical too.
