That’s the reason why a lot of people don’t like Khan, they find him annoying and they the level he’s in is boring. I know someone who stopped playing the game and never played it again because of him. I personally always found his dialogue fascinating so he actually made me want to play the game more.

His backstory is good on how he was once involved in tunnel warfare but he ultimately comes across as some hippie fool wanting to keep the dark ones alive. Live by hunters motto, it makes for a better story.

@@Charles2k I never took him as a hippie. Especially during the prayer scene, I always saw him as a spiritual man. He clearly has an interest in old religions, and is also philosophical. He provides something unlike any other character: nuanced opinions. He wants you to question yourself "do I think something is evil because it is? Or is it just because my instinctual perception deems it to be such. For instance: most human factions are pretty evil, and some of the anomalies may seem to be there to cause harm, but that doesn't mean they're evil. Hes there to hint to you that the dark ones may not be what you've been told they are. You see this very indirectly shown with the "wicked phenomenon" if you are hostile, it will kill you, the guards at VDNKh weren't exactly attacked, it was their reaction to an unknown presence (hostility, even though it was somewhat justified) that caused them to die. I like khan because he doesn't just flat out say "don't kill the dark ones" he just asks you to make sure you're making the right decision.

Khan truly is the best companion artyom could ever ask for, he is that one force of nature that represents the thoughtfulness and wisdom of the collective of humanity, he is the reminder of morality to the metro dwellers.

You reap what you sow, Artyom. Force answers force, war breeds war, and death only brings death. To break this vicious circle one must do more than just act without any thought or doubt.

In any case its peak Metro ambience and among the best chapters of all games.

Man, thinking back to this track and playing the original version of Metro 2033 still gives me goosebumps to this day. Such a great game, outside of some janky combat mechanics.

Мне нравится как эта музыка создает ощущение мира метро. Уничтоженный войной мир, руины, в которых люди доживают свой век, отсутствие какой либо надежды, ведь как и говорил Артем, использованную землю просто оставили... Если задуматься, как существовать в таких условиях с точки зрения морального ощущения, сразу нападает тоска. Музыка такая вроде простая, но такая сильная.

I heard about this game and wasnt able to play it owning a ps3 only. I was housesitting for family and played the redux on xbox one. Its everything you would want in a remaster. Was able to score a free 360 and im playing original now. I respect the game and the original voice actor fits the mood of the game better. I like it but it doesn’t even compare to the remaster. Sad because I truly believe the previous generation of consoles were better than the unimpressive library of xbox one and ps4 games.

Auch wenn sich keiner Bedankt, Ich liebe diesen Soundtrack. Danke dafür. Das Buch zu Metro 2033 ist auch supper klasse. Das wär glaub ich sogar ein Spiel für dich. Kannst du ja nach FEAR machen :) Da kannst du auch mehr suchen und gucken, da es mehrere Wege gibt :)..es wäre eigentlich Perfekt für dich ;D
