I love what this song represents, and the scene that it's paired with - refusing to pull the trigger on an old tool of destruction, and as the camera slowly pulls back from the distinct lack of a massive fireball in the distance, the quiet realization of just how desolate and empty the ruins of the world really are. Even here, there's still nothing left to save but ashes and hardy little seeds of life hidden among them - but what a shame it would be to burn any of those seeds before they could take root again. In my mind, it's the 'happiest' an ending to a post-apocalyptic story should ever be; hopeful for the future of what's still there, but there's no denying the tragedies of the past and the marks they've left on the world.

Fallout has its charm and its emotional moments but it pales in comparison to Metro. Then again that might be due to the setting, 200 hundred years after the war, not 20. The 'Old World Blues' has lost it's luster.

Можно понять эту фразу по разному, но по моему мнению, как и по мнению Метро - Войны не способны прийти к концу - если кончать с ними теми же способами, которыми они были начаты - убийства, использование огнестрельного оружия, запугивание - это всё приведёт лишь к ответной ненависти, а в будущем и к другой войне

Те кто не испытывают сомнений, и не знают раскаяния, никогда не выберутся из этого круга." Так что кто то должен простить врага своего и круг этот прервать. Правда врят ли такой принцип работает с государствами

I love that this isn't a happy ending. You don't know whether the Dark Ones will live peaceably with the humans. You don't know if they even can. All you do know is that you saved them all, and even if there is a war to come, surely it is a preferable alternative to extinction.

It's not really. Even in a best case scenario the Dark Ones are still dangerous to almost every human left. Coexistance is impossible at this point, life in the Metro remains just as dangerous and everyone who fought and died to get Artyom onto that tower acted in vain.And without the baby dark one being left to travel with Artyom, Last Light might have simply ended in a victory for the Red Line. In some ways, for Artyom at least, ignorance would've been bliss. That said, its way happier than the books ending. Talk about the worst of both worlds.

Ahh. Now I feel like an ass. I shot the dark one. Blew them up, and now continuing to last light. Since I preordered exodus, I thought I should properly beat both games in order. Since I never have. And I'm fucking inlove with the games now. Still haven't beaten last light. But still love the metro series.

Если послушать композицию просто так и не играть при этом в игру, то она практически не вызывает никаких эмоций кроме грусти. Если играть с хорошей концовкой и слушать ее, то аж слезы наворачиваются, поскольку тогда перед глазами открываются эмоции главного персонажа игры, его переживания, его эмоции. Становится ясно, что ему тяжело, он - пожалуй, самый несчастный человек на свете, он сделал непростой выбор, пусть он и не каноничный. Вся игра Metro 2033 - весьма атмосферная. Я люблю ее за это. Саундтрек в игре - половина игровой обстановки. Каждый шаг главного персонажа сопровождается атмосферной музыкой.

Музыка, слушая которую начинаешь задуматься, сколько погибло людей в бессмысленных сражениях за территорию,ресурсы и т.д., сколько погибло людей во второй мировой и в первой, и даже сейчас люди погибают каждый день на войнах, но не будет угрозы и войн - не будет прогресса, мы говорим - мир, но воюем под флагами наших стран, мы и века не продержались без войн, но в общем количестве всего примерно 370 лет мы не воевали и этого очень мало по сравнению с тем сколько мы живём т.к. мы ещё ведь жили до нынешней эры и тогда были войны. Музыка до слёз...

Hermosa pieza. El nombre de esta pieza, en realidad, en los archivos del juego, tiene como nombre "Tower" ya que aparece al final del juego, justamente en la torre Ostankino, como bien dice el titulo del vídeo en el final bueno del juego. Recomiendo escuchar esta belleza con auriculares, es simplemente hermoso. Tanto esta pieza, como "Dead City" y "Yan2" son para mi canciones únicas, dignas de apreciar de fondo.

This stays as one of the best video game music bits, not also is it great music but its also used for a great moment in the game

Музыка, слушая которую начинаешь задуматься, сколько погибло людей в бессмысленных сражениях за территорию,ресурсы и т.д., сколько погибло людей во второй мировой и в первой, и даже сейчас люди погибают каждый день на войнах, но не будет угрозы и войн - не будет прогресса, мы говорим - мир, но воюем под флагами наших стран, мы и века не продержались без войн, но в общем количестве всего примерно 370 лет мы не воевали и этого очень мало по сравнению с тем сколько мы живём т.к. мы ещё ведь жили до нынешней эры и тогда были войны. Музыка до слёз...

Глубочайшая ошибка заключается в том, что люди думают - что без войн не будет необходимого прогресса, но это не так, подумайте-ка получше - что ещё может осуществлять прогресс без человеческих жертв и если вы загоритесь этой целью, тогда возможно вы станете одним из тех, кто может поменять вспять это недалёкое мнение

когда нибудь эту игру даже ни кто не будет вспоминать но олды запомнят навсегда😥
