Hey Yardley, Re the defaced union flag badge. I was thinking ⚠ They are allowed to wear up to 3 different badges attached to their vests/skirts/jackets. Their vests/jackets/shirt uniform presumably goes to a contract laundry. So all personal badges are removed via their velcro fastening or in copsplaining hoopy & loopy. I was thinking, Yardley please acquire the 3 allowed badges and ask thin blue loopy&hoopy operatives when you meet them To exchange them to an allowed uniform addition and you will walk away !. Ok it easy to get hope for heroes velcro badge and haig fund poppy items from recognised charities and I well support these charities £♥ Just had a GB internet shopping look for 'police memorial day badge' Not seen them before but some on shop shipping channels (ssc) But to my dismay in the same window (different advertisers) the thin blue defaced union flag is available on ssc. Had a nosey and they have sold 400+ maybe charity contribution is secret. Only looked at this one ssc site, could be many more selling thin products. Like many my own experience of UK police is mostly negative, however one thing I do respect is, that when shit hits the fan, they have to go in no matter what. Just recently two officers stopped a nutter wielding a sword and received life changing injury... I am grateful they are there thin blue line badge and all.

The police cannot excuse abusive divisive and aggressive retaliatory behaviour by using an incident where they did their duty. If I smashed your car windows because you annoyed me is it ok because I once saved someone’s life? (I did save a life too so it’s an accurate example)
