Your knowledge of the law and capacity to put that knowledge to use and verbally disassemble the bloated egos of sadistical tyrants is in its own league. The silent Audit has the disadvantage in that it fails to give the opportunity for the Auditor to elicit illegitimate responses in verbal exchanges but it is very interesting in other ways, specifically in the way that it so effectively undermines the insidious tactics of hostile interrogators. I think that ultimately you caved in and I can hardly blame you since I myself was cringing at the sense of awkwardness at the situation. As far as the effectiveness of the overall tactics employed in the Audit are concerned the only weak point was that you stood within the boundaries of the building. This was of course a publicly acessible area of a public service building but it is possible that a superficially plausible objection could be raised to you being there on the basis that you were causing alarm and distress and so you could legitimately be required to leave wherupon any attempt to remain might become agravated trespass. The fact that they left you alone once they got a verbal reaction from you and caused you to move off the premises was interesting since it suggests that though ultimately the grounds for bothering you were claimed to be that you were video recording and then trespassing in fact it seems more likely that the main reason that you were harassed was because you were silent! Best of luck in keeping your lips buttoned in future should you decide to attempt to break your record for 'inactivity'. You have the right to remain silent but if you do speak anything you say may be used against you. Alternatively:- You have the right to remain silent but if you do not speak then this may be used against you. It would be interesting to remain silent in a situation where no grounds for harassing you whatever can be plausibly alleged and see what happens even to the point of ending up being wrongfully arrested, (are you required to give name and address at the police station even if wronfully arrested?) and in court remaining silent when asked to plead guilty or not guilty, (in this situation the court is obliged to enter a not guilty plea on your behalf). You will of course end up in front of the ultimate law unto itself, a psychiatrist, still remaining silent and being diagnosed as, 'suffering from' an, 'antisocial behaviour disorder'! (Video evidence may establish otherwise however). Or you may end up in court accused of being, 'Mute of Malice'. (Look it up!) It is of course very difficult to suffer injustices in silence, especially when you percieve that you can humiliate your oppressors by speaking. The right of silence/The right to remain unresponsive, interesting. You could appear in court and Stand Mute as The Defendent whilst hopefully being Eloquent when acting in the role of Council for The Defense. (I've done this myself).
