+Garry Cane As someone who saw Ozzy back in the day, one of the groups he had open for them was .... Metallica. Back then they were on their first album, and not quite as well known. The group he had open in the tour before that was another now well-known group: Motley Crue.

Sabbath was my 1st cassette tape I got for my 5th bday in 1985 and Metallica was my 1st concert for my 11th bday so seeing them together is huge to me. This was the worst, not Ozzy or Metallica, they were top notch, but this crowd was terrible. Two legends on stage, and no one gave a fuck. A bunch of old rich folks who probably think metal isn't PC enough to be good music. Imagine if this were to happen during the big four concert, or Ozzfest, or just a normal Metallica concert. The building would have come down from shear awesomeness.

It's not a stadium show, did you notice how they only did half of each song? It's at the RnR Hall of Fame so they literally get a 5 minute set before the awards are announced. It's not an appropriate event to have mosh pits and shit going on.

My top two preforming acts in Music right there. Metallica and Ozzy.

Ozzy is Metal Royalty and Metallica's reaction backing him (giant kid like smiles) is proof of that. How many times did Metallica as kids play air guitar to Ozzy growing up? It's like playing with your childhood hero.

that's pretty unreal. you can see jam and kirk having amazing time. and ozzy doing his thing. its good to see ozzy and metallica jamming it be awesome to hear ozzy on a metallica song
