There aren't many musicians who would dare go up on stage and jam with Metallica. The bar is just so damn high. Hell, if anything, Lemmy was the temporary leader of this band during this. RIP Lemmy. You are sorely missed.

Daivid Herridge YES HE WILL BE! Lemmy was a smart good moraled man and way cool man.! After meeting Lemmy and conversing for an hour and telling him I thought Motorhead had a good Punk sound to it and seeing him noding yes with a big smile happy to hear that. I learned he plAYED with Wendy O Williams (The Plazmatics) The RAMONESetc... Hearing him say if not for our long hair you might think we could be a Punk Rock bandwas cool. He was Punk being himself and not caring if others liked it. Hearing Lemmy say I was smart it was nice talking to someone who knows whats really going on. Comming from Lemmy is something I will never forget and made me smile in rough times Lemmy is a gift to Rock & Roll that should be treasured by all! THe bigest rockstar I can think of spoke with me for an hour like a friendis a extremelyadmireable quality I give credit too! The onlyt other person I have met thathad some of that was a girl I briefly introducedmyself to and offered to buy a drink walking through a night club one night. She was way Nectarand very polite declining my offer. That surprised me when my friend I went there with gave ne a little gruff doing thatand I learned who that wasand surptised I did knot know until he told me. Even after telling me her first name. Thats Pamela Anderson Did I not see the body gaurds near by? Looking over my shoulder in total surprise hearing thisI glanced over my shoulder and WTF Wow it was her!My Gen X supermodel TV& movie star I think. God Bless her being so nice and for looking over a little up at mewith a big smile on her beautiful face before I left.

I had the honor to see Motörhead live for ONE time, on one of their last concerts before...the tragedy. I was 15 years old during that time, I held a presentation about Motörhead in my class after that and everyone loved it! After that, with the last slide being a picture of me stage diving towards the band with the Motörhead Logo in the background, I instantly bought tickets for their next concert, which was schechuled in February 2016...I was taking a dump, when I read the news and let me tell you, if I weren't sitting on the toilet that moment, I would've shit my pants. I wonder... he idolized Lemmy for so long but, after the black album, he started talking about Lemmy like he was someone else's idol. I saw an interview where he admitted to never being close to Lemmy and I would bet the house he had plenty of opportunity to become close to him if he'd wanted... And my money is on that James didnt know about Lemmy's rabid love of methamphetamines for a while. I mean, you dont just spend a few years wishing you were another person (James admitted his AJFA cut was directly motivated by wanting to actually be Lemmy) to downplaying their influence on you.

I saw the Head 22 times. The first time was on one of the early American tours. A small punk club in Chicago. The came in and played as hard as they would in a stadium. I was like this is the greatest band ever. Wound up at the bar across the street drinking Jack with Lemmy. I absolutely loved that band.
