Let's take a look at the METALLIC Derwent Professional Pencils! UPDATE: I did not reach out to Derwent to replace the one pencil with the flaw. It did not affect the performance of the pencil, so it did not bother me. However, Derwent has sent a replacement set.

You should know that Derwent kindly sent a new set, since one of the pencils was damaged. Very generous of them!

New to water color pencils, I bought Prisma and I wasn’t impressed. To be fair I wasn’t sure what to expect. Heard many good things about Prisma so that’s why I purchased them. How well does the Derwent tip hold up with normal use? Thankful for your honest tips on products. Prices on scrapbooking or card making supplies have risen so much over the last 18 months it’s important to get the biggest bang for my money.

Prices sure have gone up. :( To be clear, these are not water color pencils -- just colored pencils. Prisma used to be wonderful. I still have some very old ones! The Derwent hold up well
So pretty! I wonder how they would blend with a blender nibs.

I presume these pencils would be expensive, so there shouldn’t be any damage, they need to up there quality control !

I'm sure I could always reach out to customer service for a replacement. However, I had to present the box opening "as is".
