I take pyridostigmine bromide aka mestinon, because I have pots syndrome, I have not found much research on this medication other than originally it was intended in World War II for people who were exposed to nerve agents such as SOMAN and other things like anthrax it prevents your body from shutting down. This video kind of helps explain it a bit better. , I know mestinon is also called pyridostigmine bromide. I’m confused , there is also Pyridostigmine . Does one contain bromide in comparison to the other, or are those different names for the same medication?

It's important to discuss medication issues with your neurologist or physician who treats you for your MG. There a form of liquid Mestanon, but the dosage and it's administered would be up to your doctor. Chris Almvig, Executive Director of the MGA of Kansas & Missouri
