For someone who hates to give speeches and gets nervous in front of crowd she’s amazing. She does it so Eloquently she commands the room. It’s like if you turn away you will miss something Extraordinary. Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻 you deserve every single award on the planet.

Meryl's speeches alone deserve a Oscar! she's so wonderful I love her!!! she will be always looking yang and gorgeous whyyyyyyyyyyyyy?????? maybe she have a good nature and nice behavior best talking power and always give her awesome speech .what a lady .

She does it all of the time! I've binge-watched so many (may I recommend the Oscars YT channel where they show clips) She never makes it about herself and sometimes seems a bit embarrassed at the accolades.

I always wondered what it would have been like if Meryl had played Wendy in The Shining. Just read a new interview with Shelley DuVall about how she and Kubrick disagreed about the character. He envisioned her as a strong, independent woman, whereas Shelley said that she played her as a battered but loving wife. Alas, it is a classic as it stands, but Meryl circa 1980 would have been on point with the book's description of Wendy.
