Freedom is fragile and I found out first hand when I found myself in a jail cell in Myrtle Beach, SC. Apparently according to the police, I was not wanted living in their neighborhood, this Puerto Rican from the South Bronx, veteran and Manhattan College graduate who spent his life trying to help others in social service and child welfare. My crime? Defending myself and cursing out the people who have been disrespecting me and making my life a living hell since I moved here. My crooked southern lawyer wanted me to write a letter of apology. I didn't. The judge dismissed the case.

@@lisachuck999 They handcuffed me as I came out of the house. I had to ask what I was arrested for in the police car as I was going to jail. The cop said using profanity. That was the charge. I didn't threaten anyone. In fact, the lady who called the police had her Great Dane mixed, attacked me as I was getting my mail two weeks earlier. Up until then they had repeatedly harassed me, called me names, vandalized my house (reported), attacked me with their dogs and called the police on me for running through their neighborhood in broad daylight, and stretching on my porch. They told the police someone was trying to break into my house.

@@Nestor123057 #1 Do you have police reports documenting all of that so that it is not hearsay and admissible in court ? #2 Did the police order the Animal Control to seize the dog after the attack ? #3 Do you have medical reports after the attack ? #4 Do you have audio and/or video of the ongoing harassment ? #5 Do you have anything at all corroborating your story ? #6 If you have answered NO to any or all of these questions then #7 For the love of God, why ? #8 I suspect the truth is somewhere in the middle as is usually the case in these scenarios. #9 Almost always easier to point the finger someplace else than to except SOME LEVEL of responsibility. #10 Moving on, will you do things differently in the future ? I would hope so.

That was 7 years ago, and it STILL rings true to this day.

How have I never see this 'til now? It's kind of amazing these years later.

I'm argentinian, English is a foreign language to me, and I'm able to understand the precise and articulate speech she gave, alongside with her piquant sarchasm and her keen analysis. Perhaps you USA people have a big problem with your current education, hence the unbelievable ascension of that person to the White House.

@StillLogic Police okay a lot of problematic stuff u said , first trump voters weren't all "MAGA" wearing agressive racists , you know the number of votes trump got in 2020 , right ? His vote base went up . I am a trump-opposing republican but I have sensed that people are a little anxious about changing america , they are anxious about new waves of feminism, lgbt , what educational system doing, what big corps are doing,immigrants, . there's mistrust among americans at a never-before seen level. And both of us , you and me have to work to restore it . The way you talk about a huge number of your fellow americans is part of the problem.

#1 So, she wants to demonize freedoms via criticizing MMA. Which, for the record stands Mixed Martial Arts which is based on a discipline of martial arts with an origin of self defense. More importantly, the "Mixed" part is INCLUSIVE of many different forms of self defense from ALL OVER THE WORLD. To list only a few: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (from Brazil), Muay Thai self defense (from Thailand), Taekwondo (from Korea), Krav Maga (from Israel), Judo (from Japan). Some of these art forms are of so very deeply embedded in their culture it is almost like a second religion for them. #2 Would you hold it against a women or any women that would learn these as a measure of self defense ? (I would hope not). #3 And, for the record, any person that was born in those countries and would come here to visit or stay would be known as ......... ?? Yes, got they would be known as IMMIGRANTS. #4 Who specifically are kicking out ? Canadians ?NO #5 People from Europe ?? NO #6 ONLY people from MEXICO that do not enter LEGALLY. #7 My wife and most of my friends and I LOVE that about MY COUNTRY. #8 Now, if she wants to keep pressing the issue of IMMAGRATION, we are ALL IMMIGRANTS as there were not FRENCH speaking INDIANS in what is now CANADA as well as no ENGLISH speaking INDIANS in what is now the US. #9 We all know the 3 dominate countries from Europe that came over and stole these lands from the INDIANS and they are England, Spain and France (to a lesser degree the Dutch) and their is plenty of evidence of that everywhere. So maybe the next time she wants to open her MOUTH maybe she should open a book because the American Middle class loves our FOOTBALL.
