+hithere327 You're right. That one nomination rule is for acting categories. Though an actor can have both lead and supporting nominations in one year.

Sandra Bullock is ALWAYS gazing earnestly up at Meryl whenever she finishes her speech on a profound note, like "teach me o great one!"

Meryl Streep deserved that because she was the perfect Julia child

It just seems that Sandra deeply adores Meryl and rightly so. Meryl is very humble, down to earth, never assumptious that she is the greatest living legend. The fact that Sandra can see that in her makes me find Sandra honorable.

The most emotional speech ever. I love her, and her tribute to her mother. Wonderful.

JULIE/JULIA was a terrific film...terrific performances. Stanley Tucci, Amy Adams.....wow! Jane Lynch was a pisser as Julia Child's sister.

I have something strange for Meryl Streep. I have seen every new movie since 2008 and all of her speeches. But every time she says something, I have a renewed sense of love and respect for her. She's the best actress in history and a person who inspires millions including me to be better. Thank you Meryl for your timeless performances and kind, humble and wise spirit. You're the best person and I love you so❤️
