And this is exactly why Meryl Streep is one of the most amazing human beings EVER!

No she's not. She openly admitted she knew about Weinstein and him doing the things he did. She should be in jail.

@@jody024 LOL... Lying doesn't help your flawed argument... She has openly denied, not "admitted", about the bad things Weinstein did... Also, since when people are put in jail for speaking??? By that logic, you should be in jail too...

She should have won an Oscar for making this one of the most funniest speech just by reading it😂😂😂

Speech giving is not a category for which the Academy Award is awarded.
I’m 74 percent sure “spank” is the joke that they wrote and she just acted it out-well, as always.

@@crappymcdick Notice to whom the award went to. There is more than one name.😁
Even a speech that isn’t hers she makes a classic out of.
Kaufman is my spirit animal. This acceptance speech alone deserves an award for its uniqueness and hilarity.

This is hilarious! I always wanted Meryl to accept awards (regardless if it's hers or someone else's) cuz it is always amusing and find me self smiling all the time. *LEGEND!*
Her hand gesture is so hilarious even though i have no idea why she does it
1:11 is exactly as she looked at Jim Carrey in The Truman Show.
No matter how many times you watch it, it's still hilarious. Love you Meryl Streep
FYI, Meryl and Renée were mother and daughter in One True Thing (1998) and I’ll never not be warmed by this reunion! 🥹
I bet you when she was leading up to the thank yous she was just thinking 'dont say spank dont say spank dont say spank'
I want to thank Meryl Streep who I understand is here tonight [looks into the crowd] 😂
How come she always steals the show

Donald, who doesn't exist!!
this is one of the funniest videos i have ever seen
BAFTA is so much more legit than the Oscars. No voting on narrative such as comebacks and life time achievement. They go strictly by performance

Beside being one of the greatest actresses Meryl ‘s sense of humor is just amazing and we love her for that !
The funniest part is the speech ended up being about her! He's a genius!
