I beat Jamie foy in a game of skate when he was a grom at ramp 48. I was 26 he was like 11 years old. It was still a miracle. Now I don't skate and seeing Foy winning comps makes me really proud. If your reading this. Me and Joe Ferraro are rooting for you bro. Don't forget the spark at the og park.

@@ryancairns2099 you have no idea how phenomenal he was. Ive never seen a kid like him. Yes I was thrilled because he's one of the greatest ever. Your ego prevents you from expressing many thoughts because your insecure. Maybe look up what ramp 48 is about. Not just a skatepark. I also suck at skating but had tech big spins and nose slides on lock. I was lucky. He was tre flipping double sets in downtown Ft Lauderdale by that age. Charged vert wall to heights no one was capable of.

I was in a skate comp with Shane O’Neil back in 2004. He wasn’t a big name back then but breaking into the scene fast. I remember seeing him easily doing kickflip backlips down the big rail at the local skate comp and you just knew he was going to make it some day. I also remember seeing him rock up to a skatepark in Melbourne called riverside and his first trick was a front board down the big hand rail with ease and it was just cementing how good this guy was going to be. We just sat back and watch the tech god and it’s cool to see where he is today. Everyone use to call him Nugget, that was his nickname.

@FrontFeeble Without a score how does the next skater know how hard to go? Competitions that have no scores until the end are local skate shop skate contests. Bring back the scores. Even though the comp is a sellout just stop trying to mimic local skate shop competitions.

It’s easier and quicker to not have to. The judges can’t just say that was better he gets first without having to justify it with a specific score. I personally like see an actual score. Even if I don’t agree with them always.

Wow after that good of a run to behind run with falls kelvin should have went up higher. It sucks that the not as big names can do sick perfect runs to still be placed behind the top guys with falls. On a lighter note glad Gary turned it down a notch a lot more enjoyable!

But the tricks Yuto did land No one else is doing while Kelvin always does the same tricks and slow af. U like Kelvin and do think he should rank higher but he needs to upgrade some of his tricks. The judges are clearly not scoring them high any longer.

yuto did nollie tricks and switch stance mostly broo 😯 his stance goofy not regular 😧 look for his 4th line only bail one time, judges’ll pick the most clean line among 4 attempts, not compile all the 4 attempts..

He still didn't complete a run. In any other comp it would have been automatic deduction. Bails are a huge factor and he had a bail in every single run. Therefore shouldn't have been such a high score.

because he was the only person apart from kelvin that had a complete run/landed all his tricks everyone else failed their tricks or did not have a complete run. Kelvin last trick was after buzzer so didn't count so he loses points for not having a complete run same with vincent who missed the final trick. Shane landed everything so his score was the best

Idk, man. I love watching every skateboarding event I can. But no crowd in a shitty little warehouse just doesn’t feel very “X Games” to me. The SLS courses and atmosphere are so much better, and have been for several years now.

Vincent getting robbed AGAIN. Eveyone said he deserved to win Tampa Pro and got robbed. I still thought Jamie slightly edged him out but the overwelming response from everyone else did not carry my sentiment and here he also gets robbed. Maybee if Shane landed his whole run as clean as we know he can I coulda backed that decision but nah. Show my boy some love.
