    Love Yuto but would love to see him get pentalized for doing so many nollie cabs. And other guys should get pentalized for doing so many kickflips. We should see more nollie flips, heel flips. Remember when everyone would throw big flips? Also I’m talking straight kickflip if ur doing it with a 180 or fakie. Diff trick But so often I see someone whip out the kickflip/treflip cuz it’s consistent and every T. I wanna see someone try to bust out a inward heel. Look at how many people just kick flipped down the drop. Or in elimination kickflip crook. Don’t see flip out much anymore from everyone. Or big spin back tails or other way around. Actually on 3rd run the one time yuto tried to spin or flip his board he missed. Not even tryna be a Yuto hater cuz obv he’s so gnarly and gifted but he’s had the same contest run for how long now? Also homie grew up skating vert HE GOT NOLLIE TRICKS. He learned vert in the nollie pop into stuff era. He has like nollie 540s on vert 🤯 but he never really shows his transition skills in runs like Jager

    The best run wins in this format, so of course the skaters are going to prioritize consistency. If you miss a single trick, you have no chance of winning the competition. Why would they throw around weird tricks or flip outs?

  • @sh666nks

    @sh666nks

    9 ай бұрын

    @@sk8_bort contest skating is also a viewer sport. If every single contest each contestor does the same run they've always been doing to win. People are going to stop watching. Yuto has a BAG OF TRICKS he can do more than just nollie cab variations. And these are professional skaters and best of the best. They can do flip outs. Not saying they gotta do weird tricks they can do DIFFERENT TRICKS. If a homie at my park can do a flip out, have a 9-5, and not be a sponsored skater. Judges should kinda make these guys get out of their comfort zone. Ribeiro can crook nollie flip out every try. Maybe he shouldn't score as good on that trick if it's the trick he does in every contest in every run. What's the point of watching the next event when I'm going to see the same lines, same skaters, doing same tricks.

    why hoefler got scored so low for the first run?

  • @adamhphoto
    @adamhphoto9 ай бұрын

    Nyjah's second run in my opinion isn't better than Hoefler's First Run. I'd put the ranks as potentially Hoefler in First, Decenzo Second, Horigome Third for the second runs. Hoefler's run was siick.

    They're all super awkward. That's why he scores so high. He picks the most blind tricks to do. You can see that most of his tricks are ones where you can't see where you're nose, tail, or trucks are about to go and you hope that they connect with the obstacle.

    @@adamsmith583 People only say that now. Go back to the SLS and X Games videos when he won and there’s always comments of him being “overscored” and judges “favoring” him and how he shouldn’t have won gold. It’s clearly about hating whoever is on top then when they’re no longer on top now you’ll come around and say “well at least he did flip tricks” after the fact because he’s no longer on top
