One of his son's said that he was angry , because his sons supported their mother more over the divorce. Sad but, some people can be vindictive. His father Danny lewis didn't do that to him.

​@@sheenak3733 Gotta disagree, I grew up watching his films and thought he was hilarious, and he was. Too much is known about his off screen personality alter egos, he could be kind, loving and generous or a real tyrant, bully and extremely abusive in the name of art or his vanity. His own sons have spoken about these very qualities not to mention several people that worked with him or for him, he was capable of behaving like a sweet saint or tyrannical monster as he often did. I don't wish to besmirch your memory of him which is probably more a perception of his onscreen persona, as I once had, but once you start looking through the rubble he left in his wake you'll see the troubled and toxic person he ultimately was and all of the "loved ones" he hurt. It's difficult to enjoy his movies if you take that journey, so it's understandable if you choose not to. Best of luck.

He would have denied her. I heard him in-person deny (several times) all his son, even though they all looked (at that time) like him when he was young. This happen in front of his sons Anthony and Gary. Then he said he know that his (youngest) daughter is his because she's adopted. Which make me believe if she was not adopted, he would deny her too. Before he said that I didn't know he had a daughter.

@rj zander I always wondered what his true motivation was. He always hinted at some kind of personal connection. I remember he once said he'd reveal his reasons when a cure was found. I used to watch the telethon in the 70's as a teenager. Looking back now, he was so phony.

"Miyuki Jades" However she was born in the 1950s and has to be in her 60s now. For the most part she cannot hope to be as employable as a person who is under 45 years of age. Furthermore from what I heard she was in a traffic accident years back and though she may basically be able to get around, she has to use a cane and cannot do very hard physical work. I think when she was younger she did some stand up comedy, but she probably cannot just go back to doing that now. If she is able to work a computer she might be able to find work doing that but since she was born in the 50s she might have to go back to school to learn coding or medical billing etc. She needs money now. She cannot just invest in a future career so easily. That is for someone who still has many decades of able-bodied-ness ahead of him or her.

Agreed. I have always loved Jerry as an entertainer, but this is just disgusting and heartbreaking. His estate was worth something like $50 million and he didn't live one penny to her or his sons. After seeing some news about Jerry, it seems like he was a hateful, angry person in real life behind the smile and jokes. He mentally abused his first wife and five sons. Disinherited all of them, and left everything to his second wife and adopted daughter. Not surprised that he would not have acknowledged this lady as his daughter. While, in life nobody owes anybody anything, even inheritance, as you have the right to do what you want with your money, I find it unusually cruel that he so callously dismissed his family. What a sad legacy to leave behind.

Heartbreaking and appalling. She looks just like him. Jerry said in an interview that he had always been fascinated with the original Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde movie, and the good vs. evil within people, which is why he made “The Nutty Professor.” Clearly, the movie was autobiographical. His MDA telethon to help kids was his good side and his mistreatment of his own kids was his evil side. Humans can be so psychologically complicated and damaged. He really was a Dr Jekyl (Professor Kelp) and Mr Hyde (Buddy Love). Sick.

That's heartbreaking! Crazy that he had so much compassion for children with disabilities..but none for his own child who obviously suffers from mental health issues. But left his estate to a wife and stepdaughter. They should be ashamed.

He had no compassion for sick kids at all. It’s all an act. And I’m sure he profited of these telethons. So glad when they got rid of him. He’s was a mean bastard on the telethons even.

Let me have a famous father that's not claiming me. The whole world would know cause that's how much I would be talking about it. She can sue. Most lawyers would take the case for free and of course take their portion out of the winnings.

katie mccullar if he is her biological father basically he hasn't supported her any of her life. She's entitled to be compensated financially. She shouldn't be homeless while her father has an estate worth millions.

Is there proof that he is her biological father? The video says that there was a DNA test, but it was only 88%. You would need a 99% chance for a scientist to even consider it as a parental match. Also, even if she had a 100% match, it would depend on the laws in her state whether or not she would have any legal chance of getting anything.

katie mccullar Is there proof? She looks exactly like him and 88% still a high percentage. He is surely her father! I just watched a video with Jerry's son. Jerry left everything to his new wife and their adoptive daughter. I'm not saying they didn't deserve anything, because they did. My problem is he didn't leave his own kids nor grandchildren a dime, and they're his seeds. He could've at least willed his own grandchildren money for college. I now see Jerry Lee Lewis in a different light. He was simply another Joan Crawford! He was a abusive selfish man.

This is horrible. Friends and family should help her.

Jerry had the right to leave his money to whomever he wanted too. Some relatives do not deserve money from a person estate. Jerry had reasons why he left his estate to whomever he wanted too.

She's so optimistic and bright and open. She's really sweet and nice and honestly it's sad that she's living like this. Such a lovely lady trying to make it by. She's got a good heart ❤️❤️

I can't believe it. I thought his only daughter was adopted. It's said that he really wanted a daughter. I'm a fully grown man and this has made me cry. She is so positive and not bitter

This breaks my heart. Jerry was my all time favorite comedian. Unthinkable letting your daughter live like that. You would think that Gary being a huge celebrity musician would have plenty of money of his own and could take care of his sister. A dirty rotten shame.

SanDee, Jerry's widow, could easily provide for his biological children. She's just being greedy. She needs to step up and do the right thing, in spite of what his will said. It's the decent thing to do in this situation. Candy Spelling should have done that as well. How much money do people really need? It's quite shameful. : (

NaturalHI He didn’t even leave his sons anything or even want them at his viewing I think he turned out to be a real creep.

One positive spirit in a world of sadness. Shes not on drugs. Shes not an alcoholic. Shes obviously disabled. A few hundred thousand out of his. Hollywood nest egg could have helped her have a place to live. Be a Father Jerry. This is heartbreaking. She looks just like him. " HEY LADY! Lawyer UP!"

*I was never a fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger, but when he had that child out of wedlock and acknowledged the baby was his, I understood there was a little decency in him.*

Like so many of the so called "Stars" ..people fell in love with the characters he played without knowing the person he really was ! That lady may live on the streets but she has forgiveness and kindness in her heart ...shame her father didn't possess the same qualities !

What a sad story! I grew up watching Jerry Lee Lewis and am shocked to hear of him as a father. I hope she gets something from his estate, as she seems so lovely and deserves a piece of the pie !

I just don't understand how the family can leave her like that...and she seems such a nice lady.

I wonder why she didn't get a standard education, like regular public school. Go find a simple job, like bank clerk, hospital clerk, wal-mart, k-mart, school office clerk, something like everybody else does when they finish school. Save a little money to go to college earn an associates in something. Be able to support themselves. Manage to live simple. What happened to her? Did she not get educated.

Is there anyway people can donate money to her.?
