Matt, dude. Where ya been? Don’t leave us all hanging.

One thing I've learned from Ed Bolian over at VinWiki.. when making a deal, nobody gets to hold all three at the same time, car, title, and money.

I am so sorry Matt for all the trouble you went through. Now a days many people are scandalous. I fronted a couple things without cash payment on credit, and both people screwed me and refused to return calls. A boat Troll motor and. Radar for a boat. I lost on a small scale, but the pain of having your trust abused is painful. You handled it well, hopefully you can make more content in your car for your channel.

I followed your journey from the start and am glad to see it resolve to this. Both parties were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Of course the owner of CNC motors was pathologically a con artist. Enjoy living out your Ferrari dream now.

Interesting to hear the stories of both victims of this car. You both made a terrible situation considerably less terrible.

This whole saga from what i have been watching is terrible. It's one thing to hear about C&C ripping everyone off and one lie after another. Being able to put faces to the stories i think has been important. You guys seem so nice and trustworthy, so you expect others to be the same way. But desperate men do desperate things. At this point the owner has been charged and arrested. But that doesn't make you financially whole. I learned a lot watching. You guys were able to come to an agreement and that's important. Good luck. By the way what a beautiful Ferrari.

I feel really sorry for Mac too especially since he had to pay so much to lawyers for not a lot in return. Did you have to pay Mac anything for the title and spare key in the end? Thanks for completing this story from both sides and look forward to seeing what you do with the car.

Clay really deserves a wire fraud charge at this point!! Part of me says he serves 5-10 years in prison.

I think once you get this on the road, you should let Mak take it for a few weekends. Then just sell the car and move on to something with less drama.

Based on the state of the car after Mac owned it for 3-4 yrs, i’d never let him drive it again lol. I’d be shocked if he maintained anything besides a basic oil change.

Congratulations on getting that Title Step 1 - Insure it & report it stolen Immediately i know some cronies in L.A that will take care of that u lmk Step 1A - Do Not I repeat DO NOT fix that Car it is an endless money pit Step 2 get yourself a simple sports car like a Audi two door convertible i’m sure you have a dog matt it will suit you perfectly Good luck 🤞🏼

It’s obvious. He drove it for years, spent money on silly cosmetic items, and $0 on actually maintaining the car.

@@FML yeah not hating on mac but he himself got it used, burned up whatever time it had left on it, then left it in a pile of maintenenance hell for next person. Not a nice way to treat a Ferrari!

I thought he left the title with CNC? or he just get duplicate from DMV?

So what were the details as to how he agreed to give you the tittle? What's the latest on CNC and the owner? He got released with a slap on the wrist? And finally, congrats on this!!!

What I don’t understand is why the car is in such poor mechanical shape ? Did this “Mak: do anything. Matt- I don’t know about this car……I think you hard earned money belongs elsewhere.

Unfortunately from the sounds of it he let it sit for too long, then drove it hard, then handed it over to CNC who just cared about selling it and pocketing my money.

I think the adjustment max was $35 k but it goes to both of them, so my guess is Matt gave him his share, too.

@@fredbobberts5753 gotcha so matt didnt go out of pocket, just tx’ed all the adjustment money to mac. I guess 35k is a reasonable success for mac in the end

lesson learned never hand over keys amd title without getting cash always sell for cash or direct bank transfer and fool and theor money are easily parted

He sold the vehicle because he was aware of all the issues with it. He bought it and never took care of it, Ferraris are not reliable. I have owned few of them over the years. You want a sports car that can be driven buy a Porsche.

I've had both and completely agree with this assessment. Sold my F430 and now have had a 911 turbo for 7 years with zero problems. The Italians make beautiful cars but their engineering is abysmal.

@@Jnglfvr I have owned Testarossa, F40, Italia 458 and 488GTB Spyder, should have kept F40 just for the value of it, 488 was the least problematic. But as far as driving, you can’t beat the Porsche. You can put 50k miles on one and they don’t drop in value much. I have 911 Targa GTS, one of the funnest vehicles to drive hands down.
