Hello. Love, love, love, this content!!!! Such an inspirational story, and this is coming from an aspiring nursing student! Net Worth is what you get when you subtract your liabilities (your debts like mortgage and loans) from your assets (like the equity in your home if you were to sell it, the value of your investments, and any cash you might have in your savings account). Income is what you earn from a job or sales in a business. That is not the same as net worth. Her income from her job is around $200k/yr. She also has income from other sources, such as brand deals, books sales, and other business earnings.

What percent do you typically put in from each paycheck to your index funds and what platform do you use for your investments? TY
@NursesToRiches

We typically contribute 17% of our income toward our 401k and increase this number by 1% every year because we get a raise of anywhere from 2.5% to 5%. Our hospital uses Vanguard as their retirement brokerage firm. But when we invest our after-tax income, we do it through Fidelity.

I actually am one semester from graduating in clinical lab science which would probably be similar to the biomedical laboratory science. Unfortunately, we make less money than nurses. The range can be anywhere from $20-$30 for a new graduate depending on the state (California and NYC pay more than this range). But there are tons of jobs due to many retirements in clinical laboratory field nationwide in the United States. Very easy to get a job after you graduate and get ASCP certified.

@@clpg6348 you're right.. That's a topic that's not typically addressed online.
Hi, can you make a video on assistant and general Nurse Manager salaries in California? Just curious to see how the 5 day salaried pay compares to the RN 3 day hourly pay.

That would be a very interesting video. I will see if I can find someone who works as a nurse manager and I'll make sure to get them on the series.

The nurse making hourly rate usually is more than a salaried nurse . None of salaried nurses make more than 65k in Chicago most go do extra shifts on weekends on unit .
Is it possible to get a nursing job in the bay area as a new grad with a BSN?

Yes, it's definitely possible. You just have to be willing to accept any job offer and not only one at your dream location.
