MEANINGFUL Basement Makeover For TOUGH Child

Ойын-сауық

After having a child who survived a stroke at birth, the Rende family hasn’t had the time or money to upgrade their basement. That’s where George to the Rescue comes in. This week, George Oliphant and his team travel to Port Chester, New York to give the Rende Family a beautiful basement makeover.

My father had an infantile stroke, polio, and rickets as a young child, and I take care of him now. He just turned 90 years old. He joined the Air Force, tap danced in night clubs in his younger years, and it was the tap dancing that saved him. He cannot walk as of last year, after getting his second pacemaker. :'( He still enjoys life, but it is harder on him now. I share this because Joey may have a long life a head of him and recover. My father's left side is weaker where he was paralyzed, but he is still trying and kicking.

Great job for a worthy family. When I saw the water in the basement I thought some walls were going to get opened up to be sealed or some drainage work was going to be done but the show leads you to believe that Servicemaster just located the water that came in and vacummed it up. Sort of like patching a wet ceiling from a roof leak but not doing anything to the roof problem. Hope for the family the water problem does not happen after the next spring thaw or after a heavy rain. Hate to see them with miildewy rugs and furniture. For their purposes it would be just as useless as it was. I have seen other shows where George and crew are SUPER pros and fix the root cause when they see problems like that . . Sure hoping they did the same here.

My mom is a stroke suffered person for a last 30 years and doctors have given up on her we didn't given up . Every day we make she loves to the fullest . But my home is more clutter than this one . May be sometime in future if I am able to save money I will definitely see everything is fine for my family 😊

They probably did a fix but the show is on a set time schedule. George is too good of a craftsman to let it slide. Usually it is just a matter of finding a way to redirect. So my feelings are they took care of the leak coming into the house, but probably told the homeowner about it as it may have needed more attention on the outside.
