As a dad to I am tearing up

Watching the show while cooking is not a good idea. Now food has tears of joy in it. 😭 Such a great show.

I am awe-inspired by the families that are on the show, never complaining about their lot, just getting on and enjoying life, FULL of smiles. George is awesome too, very huggable.

Duane Brodnick = the docs love it too, I think they always (?) err on the side of caution when trying to predict outcomes which aren't often predictable!

My friend also proved the doctors wrong. They said she wouldn't turn 3, and she is almost 4 now ❤️

It makes me nuts that they give you worst case scenario and act like there is no point in even hoping for or trying for the best case scenario! They told me my twins would never walk, talk, potty train, nothing! They said they’ll both grow up to be giant 1 year olds! I refused to believe it and now they do all those things and so many more!! They graduated from high school even! I’ve seen too many parents give up because they trust their dr and take their word as gospel! It makes me so angry! Luckily a lot more is known about autism (which is my twins’ primary diagnosis) now and there are so many resources but there are STILL a lot of drs saying these things and too many parents believing them and giving up the drive to help their kids fight for something more! My boys were almost 4 and I had seen them learn things so I knew it was most definitely possible for them to learn even more new things. I knew it took more work and more time for them to learn new things but I refused to just not even try. I’m so glad these parents ignored the drs words and are always fighting for the best life possible for their girls. Makes my heart happy! As a mom of 6 kids I know sometimes it’s hard to give them equal time and attention and all that they need (like therapies which eat your time away at an insane rate!) but it’s obvious they try to make sure that both feel included too and that’s just amazing!

I care for a girl who uses that type of bed and it is FABULOUS.

What a gorgeous family. I'm so pleased for them, it must be a massive weight of the parents mind to know that their disabled child has a sleep safe bed and a fabulous playroom for her and her sister . Well done George your a star !

I hope George never goes away. This has got to be the most heartwarming show ever! Empathy plus renovations yesss!

You can see the fighter in her with that smile she can cease global wars. Dad &mom are so encouraging❤

George just oozes "good guy" out of his pores. He is a Godsend to all the families he rescues. Keep on being you, George! When does the new season begin/air in NYC?

This is my favorite episode. These little girls are so adorable. The parents are very supportive.

I promised myself I would stop commentating on the white sofas for a home with children chosen by the interior designers so I won't. LOL ( We need to have a talk George HAHAHA) A beautiful family who well deserved the perfect rescue!! The bed was genius!

What a stunning renovation. I wish Audrey to reach many milestones ; her family is the best. And she is a cutie pie too . As well as her sister Vivian ( a cutie pie) When George joined the girls at their tea party it was sweet to see his softer side.

What a sweetheart of a couple.

This is such a special show. The changes they make to the homes for these families and their children are not within reach for the normal family.

It's so sweet and you can really see the encouragement in the family, also the grandparents. And the parents are so amazing too ❤❤❤

I just loved the tea party. George was too cute with the girls.

my daughter has microcephaly too due to a chromosome abnormality. She has severe mental retardation and was given the life expectancy of less than one year. That was a very scary year... the first few years. However, she is 21 years old today. She does all the things that her doctor said she would never do (walk, talk, sit by herself etc.) she has the mental capacity of a 2 to 3 year old but socially a little older. She is the light of my life. Keep your hope and your expectations high. Continuously push her to meet her full potential. She's a beautiful girl. :) Truly blessed.

The tea party was so sweet 💕 The girls are darling and the parents and grandparents are beautiful people !!

I've said it before in other videos by George he really gets whatever is needed and goes above and beyond

Wow so beautiful I love it and their family It’s amazing how people can change people who have a bright and wonderful smile 😊 I understand I know how it feel I also have a disability which is also rare and there’s not a lot of writing on my disability but it’s also a hard part on school or if I ever had a job it’s part of my learning disability but it’s hard on my life so I understand on having disabilities too. But the family that had a wonderful time I’m so happy for you all please take care of each other and your children and your family too ☺️🙏🏻♥️

That's so not right, it was actually told to my mother that after being ran over at the age of 18 months, my leg was broken & had a pretty good sized hole in it. After surgery of a skin graft, my doctor told Mom that with the severity of the injury, I would not walk again. Although after being immobile for 6 weeks, I did walk but had to re-learn. I really haven't had any problems w it over the years w the exception of this particular leg is the one that after standing for even one minute & not moving, take one step & my left leg buckles (bends the wrong way). Putting it back is so painful then having to get myself to a chair is hard in itself. God bless your daughter!!

The best thing in our property is my family, every parent want the best for their child..Good job team for this moment.

OMG! This one of my favourite episodes. What a wonderful, loving, humble and down to earth family! And the 'tea party' was quite something and quite a contrast to the dinner at the hotel 😂. George is obviously a good dad to his kids and that has reflected on the party. I just love the way he deals with children. The family has well deserved this! And for the design... ABSOLUTELY PHANTASTIC! 👌

what an amazing deserving family :) brought tears to my eyes, well done all

I was ran over at the age of 18 months & after the skin graft surgery & placing a cast on my leg, the doctor told my mom that I would never walk again. After 6 weeks and getting my cast off, my dad started a kind of physical therapy w me of standing & water therapy. Although I had to relearn how to walk, I did. Today, I have rheumatoid arthritis & it has settled into the leg that was ran over but am still walking! Although she has microsephaly, she seems to be doing well.
