Looks lovely x have missed your cooking vids , I have a daughter with a nut allergy , a hubby who think vegetables is a disease, so meal times can be hard I find for the hubby if I blitz vegetable into spice and tomato sauce he doesn’t know

I used to blend a can of cooked carrots into my spaghetti sauce for the veg hater in my house. Great trick!

Me too! Busy mum life!

All those meals...except sweet and sour chicken not a fan... I would greedily eat. We had lightly seasoned hake, pan-fried in a little butter, with hasselback potatoes and asparagus last night, and a meat and tattle pie with mushy peas Monday, tfs Jax ❤x

Oh my gosh it was so sweet and nostalgic for me to hear the train going through the kitchen, and the tiny voices in the background! I made stir fry with really good beef (which we almost never eat 'cause ❤ cows) and assorted veg, chicken cacciatore, veg soup with beans and pasta, and red beans and brown rice with too hot andouille sausage. Cooking for my F-I-L is exhausting. Said he would eat sandwiches for dinner if I wanted...who can do that to a 93 year old, I ask you! So lovely to see your kitchen, Claire. Have a great Friday.

Hi I really enjoy your channel Can I just ask how you keep to a strict budget when doing your pantry challenge and how you don’t become tempted to buy more food then you need . Any hints or tips would be fab . Really struggling to keep to a budget xx

Thank you so much! I’m not perfect at it by any means. What works for me is writing a meal plan for the week with the ingredients I already have. Then I place an order for collection (normally free rather than delivery). I’m not tempted by offers if I don’t actually step foot in the shop! Xx

Thank you 😊 slice ‘em up, coat in oil and seasoning then put them in before your airfryer heats up and 28 mins at 200 degrees xx

Wonderful meals! Love your R2D2 instantpot! 😊 I had some chicken fried rice that I added green beans to, both from the vast wasteland that is my freezer. It tasted better than I thought it would. Meatballs are next to be used with pasta of some kind. 🥰🐢💤 (George woke up briefly today. She should be fully out of hibernation in about 3 weeks.)

coconut cream? more like coconute cheese (I find it is so hard not to sit in the kitchen and eat all the coconut milk/cream when I am cooking with it, totally love it). May I say you may not be a professional cook you certainly come across as a professional mum, kind of reminds me of when I was a youngling and my parents would eke out as much flavour as possible from simple ingredients, not always with success but mostly great tastes.

We got those from a local butcher out in a village near us. My mum scored loads very cheap at her local farm supply shop of all places! Xx
