Well, Vincent Price's Egghead is already on the way. Since I am a big fan of Catwoman (virtually any iteration of the character), Catlair and Kitty Car (die-cast model was made by Eaglemoss just a couple of years ago) would be really lovely to get. Joker-mobile should also be possible. And I'd love to have Mr. Freeze's HQ. Multi-packs containing two or three henchmen each shall also be great, as well as some of the various 'Death Traps' that appeared on the show; y'know, sold as mini-playsets (it'd be nice to FINALLY get some action features).

I don't think every time they make a black character it's because of "wokeness". Kitt was also very popular in her time. McFarlane wanted to make a Target Exclusive so why not do it with catwoman whom they knew they would have two versions. The Batman 66 line is too small to have to worry about "wokeness". Also, all of the black collectors I know will pick up any and all black action figures they see because there isn't that many of them. McFarlane also knows that and wants to fill that market also.

I don't disagree, but to most people, Julie Newmar is THE Catwoman so there really was no need to have two versions of this character.

If licensing isn’t an issue, I’d love to see a Green Hornet and Kato.

Mattel released an Alfred figure at the end of the line with a 1966 head (it had 4 different Alfred heads), so you can get that if you need a real Alfred. You can also get Batgirl from the 3-pack from that same line.

I have that Batgirl but given that they just released the Wayne Manor, it's a certainty that they'll release an Alfred for this line.

The rumor out there was Todd McFarlane met personally with Craig's family and estate to get permission and they turned him down.

Playsets are dioramas. Play value is subjective. Regardless, this library is great and I figured we'd get the boat. The trailer can be sold separately, and that's right up McFarlane's alley.

Other ones they could make is False Face and Clock King. They were in other Batman shows as well. So some people would recognize those characters.

This and MotU Origins are the only modern toys I actively collect. I absolutely love the TV show and the memories I have watching it as a kid in the 80s as well.

I've had these preordered since December 1 and they finally shipped them today.

Once again thank you for the scoop! I placed my order except for the pink cowl Batman. I ordered him from pop culture. I’m really hoping for a batcopter and bomb carrying Batman, but I think your right about the size of the copter. I also think your spot on about the two cat women.

I recently got more into the series due to streaming availability and have been debating between these and the single neca one as well, or perhaps i'll get both. 66 batman is definitely my favorite batman by far for its color and fun. i enjoy your calm demeanor and accent as well.

Great choices. I just ordered Batgirl and Batman & Robin with their BatRespirators from Australia.

So excited to get these I’ve already set up my shelves to prepare for the drops. Luckily I got the Batgirl from Mattel. I would love to see the Commissioner’s office even if it’s only O’Hara in it. I also have 3 of the Alfreds from Mattel . The Joker mobile would be cool. A pop out window climbing set would be cool with Sammy Davis. A 3 pack with the old Adventures of Superman would be cool with a desk and a globe from a top of a building.

I watched an old Jimmy Stewart 50's western yesterday, I always wikipedia the supporting cast to remember what else I've seen them in, & every one of them gone now, sad that we're approaching that point with 60's Batman & Star Trek- it feel so recent (colour TV probably helps) Maudlin comment, but great research Dean on passed Actors estates etc, & good to see their faces again too! These guys are doing some great things with this line, from figures to the bat cave etc love the look of these two new figures..Dean those txt things pow, bang etc my mate put them down on his shelf, then put glass same size as the shelf on top of them, and then displayed has figures on top, so those txt's look like they are part of the floor. looks great and is one way to use them...I hope they do the bat chopper too, ..thanks for the video rock&roll will...n.z

Got all my Target Pre-orders placed today! Decided against Pink Cowl Batman, & like you, changed my mind on Two-Face & went ahead & ordered him too. I'm a bit disappointed that the Bat-Phone doesn't light up or make sound, but that doesn't surprise me though either. I hope McFarlane can figure out how to work with the actors estates so we can get all the classic characters. 🤞 Still can't believe I missed the Egg Head pre-order. Hopefully I'll be able to find him on the shelves in the coming weeks. Another great video & wave review Dean. Thanks as always for your thoughts & the news. And yeah, give us a Bat-Copter!!!

There are a ton of obscure villains such as Clock King, The Archer, Marsha etc who appeared on the TV show, but it's highly unlikely they would make figures of these characters.

Still want a Batgirl with Batcycle. They've done the Batcycle for Batman, so the mould is there... a little tweak and you could have Batgirl's bike... I believe they've mentioned they're making a Batgirl from the comic, but I don't know what that would mean in terms of style...

If the line is selling well, then we'll get tons more villains no matter what. We'll get more Riddlers and the other Mr. Freezes for sure. Merriweather Catwoman will show up eventually if the license is available. He'll do the Copter, too. We could also get Aunt Harriet and the others if the line is selling. It all comes down to money and fan demand. We got all kinds of weird, deep characters in the Batman Animated line from DC Direct, so it can happen.

You love your Batman and having purchased the original tv series Blu-rays during the pandemic. I totally get why. It’s an absolutely fantastic tongue in check laugh a minute piece of pop art Americana. The absurdly puritanical Batman is especially interesting.

So a bit of a thought: as I know most people here will be incorrect on some info. Mcfarlene was lisenced Batman 66 as a transfer from mattel and DC. He was also lisenced DC direct to continue and distribute. Therefore ertha Kitt was lisenced and created and came out last FEB (black history month) due to her having AN EPIC AND I MEAN EPIC fight with batgirl in batman 66 in 2016. Which also continues to my next subject which is batgirl. Batgirl has a 7 inch figure in matty series. And had just recently came out in the box cave series and funko series. DC owns all rights reserved when it comes to batgirl. In October her lisence to remake her figure went through. So I know we're definitely getting her. I know we're getting a few more villains and I think you are on the money. I think we're also getting SIREN. THE BATCOPTER is coming I think in two pieces. The ball which will fit the figures way too tight and the back part with the hook. We might get one more diorama which is the barcave exit. Not sure. But I think we have 2 more years and the series ends.

@@AllThings80s as far as how I know here lisence went through, other than aquring info at cons... there are also digital computer shots of figures that have UPC's entered into the target system. I happened to get my hands on one of those pictures. I knew about waynes manor since about September I believe.

It’s a great line up and these new ones are very good. Nice to see somewhat of a “play” feature with the sliding book case revealing the bat poles. McF’s definitely giving us the figures and sets that other companies didn’t, or couldn’t during their time. Really hoping for a Commissioner Gordon, Chief O’Hara and Mad Hatter. Would also be cool to get Barbara Gordon’s apartment with her Batcycle.

Unfortunately Neil Hamilton’s estate will not allow Commissioner Gordon’s office to be made as a diorama for the McFarlane Batman 66 line! & that’s a real bummer for those who watched the series in the 60s. Even people like me who watched as old reruns Bryce Garrett

we are getting batgirl. but the batman comic 66 version. since we got twoface, there could be the possibility of getting 66 Harley Quinn and bane.

Hi, nice videos. I've been making my Batman 1960's collection with some pieces of both, Mattel and Mcfarlane, selecting which I think is more adequate. For example, Batman, Robin, Batgirl Joker, Penguin, Riddler and Alfred are Mattel toys; King Tut, Egghead, Two-face, batcave, batcycle, batboat and Wayne manor from Mcfarlane toys. I'm still waiting for the Catwomen and Mr. Freeze and what uncle Todd decides... XD GREETINGS FROM MÉXICO AMIGO!

Great video (as always). Based on this video I've pre-ordered the Wayne manor diorama as well as King Tut. Like you, I'm hoping a Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson and Alfred figures will follow. It's too bad that we can't get Aunt Harriet, Barbara Gordon, Commissioner Gordon or Chief O'Hara figures! Do you have any thoughts on why their respective families would refuse to allow their likenesses to be used to create figurines? IMO, it would be the ultimate tribute to their loved ones as well as it memorialize them eternally.

Possibly because if the figure is not done well, they may not want their beloved family member to be remembered in such a way. Remember, these are $20 figures and they don't always come out looking good.

If you mean for action figures, yes. There is been a '66 Batcopter out for several years in Hot Wheel's 1:50 scale Batman line.

Overall, I've been impressed by the run although the b/w Jokers all seem to have raccoon eyes. I'd love to see McF create the Penguin Batmobile before they stop. Hot Wheels came out with one about a decade ago, but a full-sized one that could fit the Penguin figure would be fun.

Even as a kid I sort of didn't like her as Batgirl but Warner Brothers provides us with less quality Batgirls. Alicia Silverstone in 1997 really didn't sell that movie when Uma Thurman tried harder but dumbed down to get away from R-ratings. In Batman fanboy nostalgia you should be concerned with this George Lucas I created a masterpiece Star Wars and then destroy it because I'm a $4 billionaire who garbage f*& their fans.

It's not because the woke community will scream and cry, it's because, even though Julie Newmar was popular and maybe your favorite, it doesn't mean she had an easy lead over Eartha Kitt, (not the black one) Eartha Kitt was [in my opinion] as popular and presumably more popular among 66 Batman enthusiasts. But who knows… My circle of friends likes Eartha Kitt more than Julie Newmar, but I will steer clear of the claim, “one was more popular than the other”. Just my 2c.

While the Two-Face was supposedly planned for the tv show and was with Shatner in mind, but didn't get used because of budget hence the script getting adapted into the comic and then eventually the animated film fulfilling the original plan, the likeness to me isn't Shatner(like likeness rights issues) but rather looks like Keaton oddly enough. I do have one issue with the Batman figures from this McFarlane line, the uniform blues(seeing as in show they were almost all different. Not them being uniform in and of themselves is my issue, rather that it is the wrong blue, too light. Should be darker, closer to a navy blue. From this wave the King Tut, Bat Boat and library diorama interest me the most. I hope if they do Commissioner Gordon and Chief O'Hara, they also do the Commissioner's office in some capacity as a diorama/playset. Also for likeness maybe go the same path as Two-Face and use the '66 banner and do a realistic interpretation of their animation models if likeness rights are an issue. Hope we get Mr Freeze's gun and more colour accurate versions, I can see the George Sanders one with his helmet as an exclusive. With the '66 Banner now in use, I can see them dipping into the comic line for future figures based on the characters in that like Harley Quinn with her roller derby(skater waitress) look, Poison Ivy, Colonel Gumm etc;

@@AllThings80s That's why I was saying they could end up using the likeness of the animated version in the Batman '66 films like they have Two-Face as it is different enough(for one has glasses), sort of a work around that gets the character out without worrying about upsetting likeness holders.

John Astin Riddler will most likely never happen. John is still alive and is known for blocking his likeness being used. He's the reason the recent Scooby Doo Specials Collections on DVD and Blu-Ray are missing the Addams Family episode. He just will not allow it while he's still alive...and maybe after as well. I hope I'm proven wrong though.

Don't forget a variant of Eli Wallach as Mr Freeze. It's a bummer about Neil Hamilton's estate not allowing anyone to make Commissioner Gordon. McFarlane needs to dish out whatever cash Yvonne Craig's estate wants to produce Batgirl and a Batgirl cycle. The series will not be complete without her.

The original planet of the apes line from Mego and then Reaction7 used a similar likeness to that of Charlton Heston rather than a facsimile of him. I can't see why McFarlane couldn't do the same with Batgirl and Commissioner Gordon.

I hope McFarlane does just that. Universal does the same thing with Frankenstein, Wolfman and Dracula. They produce some higher end product with those actor's likenesses and pay the estates for those likenesses and they also do generic versions, which Jada has done with their most recent line of monsters.

They should do commissioner Gordon, chief O’Hara and Alfred and a police headquarters office pkayset

Julie Newmar wasn't in the movie. Lee Meriwether played Catwoman in the movie. McFarlane have already released the Egg Head figure which is due to be delivered later this month.

The comic version of Alfred that came out in Mattel's last wave of DC Multiverse figures came with an Alan Napier head. Granted, Napier didn't wear a tux with tails but the head works perfect if you can find a Movie Masters suit body like Harvey Dent or the Michael Caine Alfred.

You are absolutely correct that kitt came out first all because of the crazy woke/leftist. Duh….doesn’t take much to think about that is the reason lol wayne manor is very cool . Can’t wait. Bat boat is cool too but thought the bat copter would be first . Hope the scale is decent and not having the figures look like they are riding on a jet ski .

While i know you dont like the Alfred Batman there was 1 version of Robin who was secretly Timothy Pennyworth (and it wasnt part of the Batman 66 universe) but he was either either the son or grandson of Alfred Pennyworth....Batmans butler so maybe thats why they did it

My top 10 wants would be Batcopter, Batgirl Cycle, Batgirl’s changing room, Mad Hatter, Bookworm, Batgirl, Alfred, Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, and the Jokermobile. I’d also love to see Masked Penguin, Unmasked Julie Newmar Catwoman, Lee’s Catwoman, b&w versions of Penguin, Catwoman and Batgirl…and Suited Riddler. Then Barbara Gordon, Shame, Clock King, Season 1 Mr. Freeze, and False Face. More comic villains like Scarecrow and Poison Ivy. There is still a lot of great figures they could do. False Face you don’t even see the actors face, kind of the same with season 1 Mr. Freeze with the helmet covering most of his face. Clock King likeness in the comic was exactly like the actor so I believe they have his likeness rights if they wanted to use them.

First of all, it's common sense that it had nothing to do with "Woke politics," as you said. It's literally what McFarland, Hasbro, and almost every other toy company does when they can. If they can create variant sales from the same mold/parts they will always prioritize the most desired version. More people would buy the Kitt figure if they didn't think there would be another Catwoman versus Vice Versa. THATS MY POINT! I 1000% agree Newmar is seen as THE Catwoman! This isn’t about left or right. It’s about Money! Why would you question that? Todd is in the toy business! It had nothing to do with politics. Did you read my post? Do you see what Hasbro does with GiJoe? Did you see how they release certain characters in versions no one wanted first? It’s so they could make MORE money off those molds. Todd constantly says he doesn’t feel female figures sell well so it was even more logical for him to do what he did.

@@AllThings80s its not about the "tolerant left ", it's about getting figures of folks on the show. I'd bet good money that more folks would want a few different cat woman variants over one shot wonders like Shame. Using terms like "Woke" and "Tolerant Left" just makes you look like a bigot, or at the least quite intolerant yourself. @kaijuenemy3345 is just sticking to toys and dollars and cents.

I don't think woke politics played a role in McFarlane's decision to include Eartha Kitt since Figures Toy Company also made her version of Catwoman. My guess is there was an original intent for both to produce all three actresses until Lee Meriwether declined. Most likely due to not being in any real position to command the same licensing fee as Julie Newmar.
