Huge fan of this 60s tv show 😊

Many legendary actors came through this show.

When this series was on, I had such a huge crush on Yvonne Craig as Batgirl and Julie Newmar as Catwoman. Man could they ever fill out those outfits.

@@kevinmiller1985 I actually had to look for pictures of Jim Neighbors from 1966 to see if it truly was him, because it sure looked like him. But it turned out it wasn't ... good catch though :)

One of the best of my childhood! This one plus "Bewitched", "I dream of Jeannie", "Lost in Space", "The Flying Nun" among others, made me stay in front of TV for so many happy hours. Greetings from São Paulo, Brazil.

What a time to be a kid 1966 the greatest year ever an explosion of pop culture.

Jan & Dean jumped on the Batmania craze to no avail.

today we bid farewell to batgirl from Elvis to Batman quite a life and a full one also rest in peace in that batcave in the sky. thanks for being our batgirl.

In my eyes, Adam West, and all the cast, and all the behind the scenes people who helped to create "Batman" on a week-by-week basis are also crime fighter's too!!! and from way up in heaven the Angel's are smiling down on "All" crime fighter's, and I myself do personally thank them for their efforts!!! they strive to keep our society safe and crime free!!! Kudos!!! Batman, and Everyone, and Everybody!!! and yes, yes, I realize this was all imaginary play acting, but the show does project such positivity that it's impact on society can not be discounted.

Loved these pictures! I actually played it on half speed to take in the background details :)

Back in 1979 or 1980 can't remember the year but I went with a couple of friends of mine to a custom car show at Will Rodgers exhibit hall in Fort Worth Texas and Adam West was there in full costume signing autographs and he signed a pic for me and all I could say was Thank you so much Batman. And he just smiled, Wish I could find that picture. I watched the program when I first came on and I was 11 ( I am 66 now) and even went to the theater to see the Batman movie. BUT was really unhappy when they replaced Julie Newmar as the Catwoman. Even @ 11 she was a BABE!!

even though it's 1966 but this Batman car looks sophisticated at that time. The gadgets are enough to make me say Woah.. makes my mind explode when I see how sophisticated Batman's car is

It’s Jan and Dean. Their most popular music was surf, car and summer fun songs. Their Batman song was a one off… just trying to get in on the Batman craze of 1966.
