I have never got sucked into the 1x loose 1x carded thing, thats a expensive rabbit hole to go down .. one is enough for me.

Dean, not boring - brought me to tears, remembering my childhood and grandparents and parents who are no longer here. That’s why we collect toys from childhood as it brings back all the memories associated. You remain my favourite KZreadr and even my wife is now intrigued to hear about your move to Thailand.

It is tough having to part with some of your collection. I have a fairly large collection covering Batman, Star Wars, Planet of the Apes, Star Trek and various others that take my fancy. I cannot imagine having to part with it. I have four daughters aged 20 to 31 and i often say that one day all this will be yours and the look of horror on their faces is priceless.

Glad I made the decision at the start. I just got one of each character sticking to standard issue. Julie was my Cat Women so no Miss Kitt. Only need Egg & Tutt.

I use to buy doubles sometimes triple figures in the universal monsters for yrs and other toy lines as well ,some I came out pretty good reselling them some not so hot ,but like the stock market u don’t really know what will be hot or not down the road. Cleaning out making room that’s my New Year resolution getting back to the basics

I sold off almost all of my The Vintage Collection Star Wars figures years before people went crazy paying huge money for the figures. Had to pay off medical bills for family. Don’t regret it and everyone has reasons for selling off collections. Still kept some favorites… Hopefully they don’t come out with that boxing ring down the road. I’m sure you can always add the figures later.

The fact I have all the figures loose makes it a much easier decision.

Alfred had the cowl on in the show so having the cowl off would be wrong. You can get a regular Alfred head from the Alfred figure Mattel released at the end of their line. It came with 4 diff Alfred heads. You can keep that Freeze figure and find a custom of the other Freeze that wore that same costume. You can do the same with the Bruce and Dick…..heads and put those on suited bodies (or whatever is out there that is appropriate).

Where are you off to mate (from where to where)? Sorry if you mentioned it earlier and I missed it. I’ve moved abroad many times and I understand how ya just can’t take it all with ya? I'd keep the villains. Knowing McFarlane, they'll keep pumping these out and you might look back and regret not having the baddies on card.

I collected McFarlane and marvel toys as a teen in the early 90s in the box and they’re up in my dad’s attic somewhere. Out of curiosity started surfing eBay for some of the ones I remember having & was disappointed to see they haven’t gone much up in value especially if you adjust for inflation. I think you should just buy such things to enjoy them less as a collectible & less to make money on someday.

Yes, I believe the Classic TV series is over given that they've just announced the next wave will be the '77 animated series figures.
