I used to work in a hospital kitchen. We could have to fill 300+ orders in 1½ hours. I had to run half the tray line and the dishroom as well. The trayline was like doing 1 new order every 5 seconds. I had to assemble the diet packs, build the sandwiches, run salad station all at once. Then I had to find free time to process every dirty dish entering my dishroom. This included every tray from our public cafeteria. This brings back so many good memories and is very relaxing. Thank you. ❤️

I’ve been there too. I worked my way through undergrad up to Medical School before I was able to quit working in the kitchen. At my place, some times the entire night shift left dishes for me to handle in the mornings and man it was rough sometimes. Had to take the trash out, run the massive dishwasher for trays and silverware, had to hand wash giant pots and pans as well as cooking utensils. I remember having to bounce back and forth between dishes and the tray lines. Side room for the cafeteria itself, repeat the process in there and bounce between three places. Cafeteria workers all over the world are definitely unsung heroes and most are definitely understaffed. That job taught me humility and respect for all levels of hospital work. When my daughter was little, she'd order a cheeseburger happy meal, with "extra, extra, EXTRA pickles", It was interesting to see what that request translated to, depending on who would make it. She got a grand total of 3 once (and was heartbroken), to once having a giant handful. 😂 Just curious, how many would you put on it?? Sending love to everyone reading this, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana!! 💙💙
@sparkygamer101
Жыл бұрын
it depends on the order taker too. you can only put so many on the actual screen. typically its one pickle per piece of meat tho. so a cheese burger gets 1 pickle. and can get up to 3 with the options on the screen but if the order taker is a good one they will tell the kitchen the actual request of 'extra extra EXTRA pickle'. one time a kitchen manager gave them a whole 4 piece box of pickles bc he wanted to make someone's day lmao

I think McD corporate should be forced to watch your channel, and especially specific videos like this one, to realize the character and skill of the people it takes to make them their huge salaries. You are amazing, and should be gifted your own corporate store, or have a subsidized franchise of your own at this point. For crying out loud, your first job was at 10 YO at a McD? Dude, yer obsessed with McD and they need people like you to help grow the company, and they need to know it.

"Help grow the company" lol at acting like McDonald's is some start up company on the rise. Its a freaking monopoly for fucks sake. They are doing just fine on the "growing" thing.
Things have changed significantly since I was employed by McDonalds from the mid 1980’s to early 90’s. Fun to watch how different. The “clam” was just introduced cooking 2 qtrs at a time. The McDlt came and went quickly while the McRib and salads were introduced during my tenure.

My mom worked there during the McDLT thing. She still has a little vest pin from the promotion.
The frantic pace is insane! Makes a person feel grateful for McDonalds
It seems like you are a very calming influence. You communicate extremely well and are positive, plus you have a great sense of humor and aren't easily upset. The folks you work with are blessed.
How understanding you are towards your employees is outstanding.
What a great leader. Jumping in there to help your staff is incredible. I wish my management would do anything to help us. I don't work in food service, but leadership is an asset to any job. Way to be a good guy. I appreciate you
watching this at night was not a good idea bc now I'm craving some mcdonald's lol

Literally me on his channel last 3 nights
Just found this channel I’m loving it (NPI) because I worked at McDonald’s through high school and first part of college and I miss it! I’m literally 30 years old and still have McDonald’s nightmares (IYKYK) and reminisce about McDonald’s days. Best job ever! This channel takes me back!
Y’all’s teamwork is amazing.
i’m glad to see how hardworking you are dude. i’m a coworker here in portugal and i would prefer to be working at your mcdonalds x1000

it depends on the order taker too. you can only put so many on the actual screen. typically its one pickle per piece of meat tho. so a cheese burger gets 1 pickle. and can get up to 3 with the options on the screen but if the order taker is a good one they will tell the kitchen the actual request of 'extra extra EXTRA pickle'. one time a kitchen manager gave them a whole 4 piece box of pickles bc he wanted to make someone's day lmao

the way the gopro is angled makes it look like his eyes never leave the work station and he just reaches for stuff with muscle memory lol
I am glad that these videos exist. It makes me appreciate the people who work fast food more.
I like these videos so much that I try to wait until I’m really ready to concentrate to watch them. Keep the content coming!!! I see some others trying to do videos like this but yours are the best by far.
The enthusiasm from you is what I like to hear . Well done angel Steve your crushing life
Your videos are satisfying to watch. I love seeing this type of content. Thanks for posting, and keep up the content!!!!
As someone who values speed and efficiency at work, this guy is one of the best examples of the speed in which I try to be at at work.
Really want more of these vids and longer, they’re great to watch.
ooooh I like the double Filet O McFish bread-somersault. Risky move, but paid off :D 10 points to your colleague
Great management 👏... awesome team work. Keep doing positive things for the young kids working hard. Great leader
Yo, these videos make my day when I see them on my feed. Keep it up bud!

Dude you are a machine! It so entertaining watching you work and to see passion in the workplace. Not very common anymore sadly.
This is so satisfying to watch
Although I'm a fan of this channel, it definitely shows that quality of assembly decreases as speed increases. Sometimes the onions or pickles almost completely miss the burger and the slapped together upside down boxes don't help.
At my local McDonald’s the burger buns are hard as rocks. The manager doesn’t care about anything their, that’s why I go to the other one instead. But you Steve you care a lot you’re a very great leader! Keep it up! One day I’ll go to your McDonald’s!
i've never seen a bakery display since 2010 over here, lmao. wow, that is awesome
Love your videos!! I had to grab the "Manager's Special" at our MCDONALD'S tonight...20 nuggets + a basket of fries for $8.00 for my husband and I 😁
Love your videos ❤️
gosh this brings back so many good memories of my time working at Wendy's!
3:50 "I need some McChicken down....we're taking 10" sounds like a phrase you'd hear in the theatre of war.
i wish i had coworkers as energetic as this bro 😭
stephen you make it look easy👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I work at McDonald’s in Morton grove Illionios and our location is as busy as yours and I respect and love seeing how other McDonald’s over the world operate and it’s cool how we almost are the same as we operate our kitchens it’s so fun to work and watch!!!!!
Got an ad for McDonald’s corporate watching this lol!
My order when I go ham on McDonalds is 4 original cheeseburgers, 2 filet fish and a 10pc nugget with honey mustard and when the ice cream machines were working an m&m mcflurry. Somehow got all of that into this 5'8 body. Man I love the original cheeseburgers I get 6 if I'm just ordering those.

McD's need a faster pickle picker device. A cheese dispenser like a card shuffler would be good too.

tbh i really like these mustard & ketchup dispensers, really is nothing like what i have but unique

Thanks for uploading videos regularly😊😊
Stephan you are the best. If you could come to the EU to train workers in our McDonald's, I would be the first to come if you would train me and show me all the secrets of this business. It's a real pleasure to see how committed, progressive you are and how you give your best all the time. You give your soul and body with a very professional approach to the work that you truly and unreservedly love. If everyone had access to work and to their colleagues as you do, this world would be a much nicer place. It's a real pleasure to watch you. And I wish you the best of luck in your future work. Greetings from a small Mediterranean country in the south of Europe called Croatia.

I remember going to McDonald's as a kid. I hope that same feeling I had as a child I have in the after life
It has been at least 12 years since I have had Mc D's. Well since discovering your channel that streak ended a couple weeks ago. I won't lie I ordered 2 Cheese Burgers and a 10 piece nugget and OMG it was so good. LOL
Love this
Nice video I love your videos
I genuinely don't think I could do this as a job. I appreciate what you and other fast food workers do!
"The bag ripped" I felt your pain 😆
Nothing like the sounds of food being prepped at a McDonald's to put you to sleep
Why do I enjoy the sound of the ketchup and mustard dispenser??? 🤣
u make the world a better place
I'd love my boss was like you, steadily giving orders and your employees and coworkers are happy working with you. Heck, I'd love to work for you. Too bad I'm from another country 🤣🤣
Man the rushes luch i've ever seen. I really wanna see you upload more I'll wait for that
Is it me or Stephen makes its look easy/fun to work there?
