    I used to work at Subway many, many years ago. Watching this again made me nostalgic. It could get so extremely stressful, sometimes I had 10 h shifts, no break in between and nothing where to sit. But making sandwiches and talking to the customers was fun. And I had great co-workers to work with. Cleaning everything in the end was always the worst. Everybody just wanted to go home but things needed to be done so we tried to hurry up. But we never could leave on time. Always 30 min or even 1 hour later. 🙈 The best were the free sandwiches, soft drinks and cookies. Plus, I still wrap up my sandwiches at home like it's done at Subways. I never forgot that, but it's a great method. 😂 Well, thanks for taking me back! :)

And then when you do get a break when it’s stupid busy, you don’t take it knowing your coworkers are in there struggling while you wait. So sometimes it’s skipped to help them. It’s the sad reality of customer service workers.

    I worked at two different Edible Arrangement stores-- TRUST ME when I say I know your pain with those DAMN GLOVES! 😠 Except I had to change them twice as often, because I was answering phones every fifteen or so minutes also😩sometimes even less than that. They had me doing everything, while everyone else slacked off. I only put up with it because the owner needed help bad, and I felt bad (and needed the pay, but in the end it wasn't worth it. They didn't change only tried to take advantage of me more and it exhausted me beyond belief. Got to the point where I'd ALWAYS be THE LAST AND ONLY worker left in the store every single day AND night. And then a robbery attempt happened, and my boss suddenly decided that I wasn't important enough to do anything about it. No police report no nothing; she didn't want to get involved and didn't even apologize or sympathize with me. After everything I've done for her. Nothing is worth that). Dang, didn't mean to vent like that lol, anyway, love the videos!

We had to make sandwiches non stop from the time we opened to almost the time we closed. There was a line out the door and a block and a half down the street. That shit was crazy. Got all kinds of overtime doing that. Ended up getting a raise and making as much as the supervisors, a whole $7 an hr ( That's giving away how long ago it was lol). this dude is totally giving me 90s, early 2000s vibes and i love it (sighs wish i could turn back time to 2004 when things used to be good in life) i loved getting a oven roasted chicken breast on italian herb & cheese bread, with provolone and mexican shredded cheese, lettuce, (sometimes bacon if i wanted to treat myself), southwest sauce, sweet onion sauce and ranch, along with baked lays and a chocolate chip cookie, and i loved the chicken asiago/ceasar wrap they used to make that had chicken, asiago cheese, ceasar dressing, kalamata olives, parmesan cheese, tomato (chopped) and lettuce in a flour tortilla. damn those were the days.

    Hey Milad. Here in the UK when I go to subway the sandwich is wrapped in both the white paper and the subway wrap. Is there a reason why you ditch the white paper on each sandwich or is it just a preference thing?

  • @adrianbarboza3182

    @adrianbarboza3182

    It’s Prob because sauce Nd etc gets on the white paper Nd they try to limit the messiness so when there done making there sandwich they 50/100% of the time ditch the white paper but that’s just my thought

  • @IWusHErE303

    @IWusHErE303

    From what I have seen is if the white paper if messy like if he cleans the cutting knife off or if there is sauce on it, he ditches it but if the white paper is clean then he puts it in there, but since in this video it will take alot more time to wrap each half sub in the white paper then he ditches it and plus I guess there is a line of people I guess so it is faster to ditch the paper but that is my theory

    A problem I’ve noticed with a lot of independently owned subways is that the workers always seem to try their hardest to give you as little as possible, like they’re reluctant and you’re stealing money from them

    I went into subway for the first time today and must say it was a weird experience, the dude was in the middle of making my sandwich then apologised as he ran to the toilet, i waited around 7 minutes before he came out to tell his colleague the taps to wash his hands didnt work! So i asked "did you just take a shit and not wash your hands" and he said "yeah its all good i'm wearing gloves anyway"🤢🤢 call me a karen but personally thats f*cking disgusting
