there have been multiple times when griffin has "accidentally" mentioned snowden and started justin off. i think /this/ sweet baby brother secretly enjoys his big bro's silly voices.

I've met trainers who do this, and not one of them has ever been able to give me a decent reason why. Which makes sense because it's a bullshit technique.

Recently all the mbmbam clips I’ve been hearing are horse related and even though they’re from different episodes this either means a. The McElroy’s had an episode where they talked about horses a lot or b. They just talk about horses a lot C. I’m overthinking

People smack horses in the face so THEYLL feel better, not because it does anything with the horse. Its literally just abuse and bullying.

So as a Kentucky and I feel the need to say this. Physical disciplining your horse never works. They do not respond to physical disciplining. Not only that in many States including Kentucky it's a crime. so they would literally take the horse from one sister sees it the other sister could buy the other sister's percentage. Yes horse percentages are thing in Kentucky. and the sister who is hitting this horse would honest-to-god have a criminal record and likely face a little jail time. but again it doesn't work horses do not respond to physical violence plus eventually that horse is going to get enough of it and honest to God kill her. I'm not joking it will literally one day lose it it will be afraid that it's going to get hurt again and it will kick her and it will kick her again and it will take her again and she will be pudding. You know because horses are very big and strong. What she's doing is honest-to-god animal abuse. From the riding standpoint it makes no sense.

I'm only about a minute in but by gosh was I thinking the same thing. I know very little about horses, but I do know they're big and strong and dangerous. Smacking a horse doesn't sound nice or effective. Maybe she deserves to be pudding

All of this. Animals all behave differently to physical "discipline" (abuse. it's totally abuse.) and can one day just be fully over it. Hopefully that horse tap danced that digbat sister into traction and never had to be mistreated ever again. #Horseilluminati4Life

jenniferrpovey 9 months ago Scflo, absolutely tell the trainer. Even if he's not inclined to worry about the "feelings" of the animals - punching a horse in the head can cause serious injury (they're not as prone to head injuries as some animals because of the shape of their skull, but horses absolutely CAN get a concussion if you hit them hard enough or in the wrong place) and the owner wouldn't be happy!

Horses communicate boundaries to each other with a certain amount of physical aggression. Hence, physical discipline is effective (understood by the horse) and even necessary in situations where personal safety is at risk. A slap to the neck or tap on the nose is a good way to stop an aggressive or overly playful horse from biting. Physical force should never be used to "convince" a horse to do something. Hope this clears things up for other commenters . . .

A lot of animals can understand tonality, if not the specific meaning of words. Horses can be trained to respond to commands, so they definitely understand some words.
