Matthew Rhys has joined my pantheon of the greatest CONAF guests. He's so funny and likeable, and that voice and accent of his, I'd listen to him read legal documents, enthralled. Definitely in my top 10 favorite guests.

I didn't realise how good of an actor Matthew Rhys was until I saw him on this podcast. He's so different from his role in The Americans than he is in real life
Really funny with the response to question about what he would do differently with Bond.
I love these two together! Matthew and Conan's banter chemistry is up there for me with Timothy Olyphant.
I think Matthew can perform what ever role he puts his skill to.
I can understand why Sona and Matt were miffed at not being there. Matthew Rhys is a wonderful guest, very engaging.
A Welsh Bond would be awesome. I think Matthew would do pretty well as a Welsh Doctor Who.

I love watching the comedic gears of Conan's mind work in the moment, as he is riffing on the "how would you play Bond differently?" question 🤣
It's a shame Perry Mason was cancelled. Such a great show. HBO really fumbled that one!

It's a miracle Bond doesn't have a limp and an eyepatch. Imagine a Bond movie series reboot, only based on the books and with perfect attention to detail, like the way The Godfather series matches the book, in the correct time period. After watching The Americans and Perry Mason, I'm completely convinced that this man is the actor to pull it off. Keri could play Viv in "The Spy Who Loved Me".

With how beaten up Craig's Bond got throughout his tenure, he pretty much did play him with a permanent limp. Barbara Broccoli definitely took Matthew Rhys's idea here.
