Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Interview with Matthew McConaughey on His Success Playbooks, the Powerful Philosophy of Greenlights, and Choosing the Paths Less Traveled | Brought to you by Wealthfront (wealthfront.com/tim), Helix Sleep (helixsleep.com/tim), and Magic Spoon (magicspoon.com/tim).
Show notes: tim.blog/2020/10/19/matthew-m...
Matthew McConaughey (@McConaughey) is a Texas native and one of Hollywood’s most sought-after leading men. A chance meeting in Austin with casting director and producer Don Phillips led him to director Richard Linklater, who launched the actor’s career in the cult classic Dazed and Confused. Since then, he has won an Academy Award for his portrayal of Ron Woodroof in Dallas Buyers Club, appeared in more than 40 feature films that have grossed more than $1 billion, and has become a producer, director, and philanthropist with his Just Keep Livin’ Foundation-all the while sticking to his Texas roots and “jk livin'” philosophy.
McConaughey also serves as creative director for Wild Turkey and has co-created his own bourbon, Longbranch. He serves as Minister of Culture/M.O.C. for the University of Texas Athletic Department and the Austin FC Soccer Club, where he is part owner. McConaughey will launch his first book, Greenlights, on October 20, 2020. He currently resides in Austin, Texas, with his wife Camilla and their three kids while he is a professor at the University of Texas in Austin.

I have heard a previous Tim Ferris pod cast and remember being impressed. This one was out of the world: I am beyond impressed with Matthew. I know he said not to but I'll be reading his book very soon, and I hope to internalize some of his wisdom.. His way of looking at things and then putting it into words is amazing, BUT NOT "unbelievable"! Your presentation of these pearls & emeralds & rubies of wisdom seems so easy, yet I realize now they were jewels at the bottom of a deep mind/mine that you excavated thru pain and and then shared with us. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Please keep on thinking these deep thoughts and writing them down so that as time goes by, there will be more profound wisdom for us folk to read about and try to incorporate into our lives.I live in Texas and I can tell Tim its NOT in the water; it's within THIS very deep thinking man who still knows how to love and live while he does what the ancient alchemists tried to do so long ago: turn the gross matter of the earth into the fine gold of the soul.

I have a serious issue with this claim culture so when he said he continued to use a face cream and then try to claim in court for it I just thought that's the worse shit ever. Cant stand that attitude but it seems very popular in America and it's quite bad here in Ireland now too

He manifested winning the Oscar. Of course he put work in to get there, but there is a certain power in writing goals down. It's a vital step in realizing/manifesting them, because you're bringing forth an object from the realm of thought into the physical (on paper). Always cool to hear these stories, because when I write things down with conviction and release them into the universe, I look back years later and see how it all aligned perfectly.

Totally agree that the definition of the road less traveled is now open for interpretation and unique for everyone. The poem’s meaning has evolved through the generations as each generation decides on things differently but we usually end up at a very similar conclusion over time. Oftentimes our road opens up and the road more traveled seems to be the one that allows us to make the more clear choice. I think Robert Frost was saying that the choice is up to you ultimately.
