"..All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively; there's no such thing as death life is only a dream and we're the imagination of ourselves." From a Bill Hicks stand up that I think about constantly because it's glaringly obvious to me but i dont live as if.

If you were really tired of it you’d be done with it. But something is keeping you caught up in the drama. You’re getting something out of it, some ego trip. Whether it’s “oh poor me” or whatever it is, you’re feeding into the illusion somehow. I’m not saying this as a slight on you at all, I’m caught up too obviously, can’t escape it haha but that’s how it goes… until you’re really done.

It's odd how some youtubers make images of Dr. Watts as a pseudo Asian looking dude. lol. He was 100% British, by the way. Anyway, his wisdom is timeless particularly when it comes to existential suffering. He embodies the lessening of that suffering. There is a dance between oneself (Or within oneself). The union of that 'battle' or dance is nirvana, the holy spirit, etc.

I too have been frustrated with a number of visual AI type renditions of the man, looking recently so strange and false to demand, that someone says please stop your provoking the wrong brand, or fabricating falsehoods and hoping it grabs glam or some other superficial attention seeking van or carriage to capture the minds that less sand, through the glass or the hour by the time lessons hand, still in part we know sour and the flight as we land, we knew prior to the touchdown of both the Watt and the man, genuinely transcendent he still politely commands, for respect beyond time and thumbnails being hammed, detached yet attached we know the little things still jam, in the cistern of the system with more AI than real man.. consistently Alan sees and speaks that same things we see at exactly this time, feels like i've thought that the same thought for most of this mind :-) haha. cheers

I went for a walk and gazed at my city through tree branches. They looked as though they formed cracks in the reality I walked from on a non-literal level. It felt like it was showing me something but couldn’t tell. Later through taking more natural psychedelics, I went through dark tunnels. I was given the option which one I could go down. As I went, I could barely see through the walls as if it was a weak void to barely capture what the other tunnels wouldve shown me. Nothing. It gave me an understanding that life has doors of opportunity with windows to see what the others wouldve given, but not enough to know truly. It helped me in a way I can’t explain. To be more comical, Ill say I also love watching the flat objects around me wave like rollers in the ocean and that is always a fun time for me

we are left in our sub conscious that says bad is good, and that is extremely negative to our own ambitions, I can't, I want to do the unhealthy thing, I don't want friends, I don't want to care, in truth, could you do all these things on your own positively, no, somewhere in you is a divine inspiration to do what is right, and if we embrace good, we can be good, and we no longer require the sub conscious, we allow the awakened conscious, and now for a truth, the truth is spirit, because the truth and your dreams are magnificent.

It is actually quite interesting to see people so much in their own avatar and narratives, their divorce from reality paradoxically makes them much more attached from the world. It also makes me think I may be one of the few chosen ones, intellectuals are indeed intelligent, but there is hardly anything new and brilliant in them

I am not confined to my body but I don't claim to have a full understanding of the vastness of space , I doubt the human mind is capable of comprehending infinity yet the spirt is forever and it would seem to require infinity .. I have been doing Astral travel since I was a kid and it was the best thing in the world as I always looked forward to bedtime because I could close my eyes and fly out into space and it all just felt so good to me . Eventually when I got older I flew to the moon . I saw things on the surface that I wanted to explore so I dropped in and just before I was about to touch down I noticed there were two little guys off to my left and they saw me ,, they had dropped what they were doing and started making thier way over to me . We were communicating telepathically and they were telling me that I shouldn't be here , that came as no surprise but the next thing they said has had me wondering ever since . These two little guys are telling me that it wasn't my time yet . These little guys are probably no more than four feet high and they don't look like the ETs that everyone describes as they don't have big heads and big slanted eyes but their eyes were black and they looked exactly alike . The next thing I knew I was laying on my bed but I could not move a finger and I lay there until I saw the sun coming up the next day before I could even move a finger and I had to work at it until I could finally get up off of that bed. I was hearing strange computer like sounds operating at high speed that I can't really recreate and most of the night I could still see the glow of the moon about the room coming from behind me but I can't move my head to see why . Fortunately I have only had two sleep paralysis encounters , but in 1984 I believe God sent me into the future and I tell you there was no getting out of it , I tried . I had left the mainland and hopped a plane for the island of Maui and I had gotten a room in a gated community called Pu Amana in Lahaina . It was a nice house with upstairs bedrooms and across the hall was another guitarist named Wess Montgomery , a Jazz guitarist . I could hear him playing softly as I was laying there on my bed looking up and staring at a Gekko on the wall and the next thing I knew I found myself standing in a semi trailer next to a big Diesel powered generator , you know the kind you would find at some carnival with big doors on each side so that air can circulate better for the engine . I looked down at my feet and saw big three or four inch diameter cables running out of it and into a big dark grey concrete building and into the open front doors of it , the building was dark inside since the generator wasn't running . I jumped down out of the trailer and went over to the building and took a good look at it and as I look around I realize that I am back in Longview Washington and this building is sitting on the corner of what is called the Triangle parking lot where there is supposed to be a little phone booth looking gas station , it was there when I left , my friend JJ worked there . The building was abandoned though and the town was quiet , there were no cars running around and no electricity obviously hence the generator . I couldn't find any people either until along toward the end of the day as I could see them slowly approaching off in the distance . When I finally meet these people they are telling me that they were coming here to meet with their relatives who were in the military and we were in a war and their relatives had been in a battle . It was getting along toward dark when these people arive and I can see right away they are in pretty bad shape , It looked like radiation burns to me and these people were definitely dying , they were here to be euthanized as there was no hope for them . I was on Maui for about a year and when I finally came back to the mainland and went over to the Triangle parking lot there is the building and it is exactly as I saw it in the future and it is a movie theater and after closing it's doors the building changed hands and now it is called father's house . There were other buildings that I had also seen as a lot of things had changed in that town , but now I have to wonder can the course of the future be changed ? The answer is probably not , for now and I say that because I know that God and all of his Angels and our loved ones are there in the great here after outside of the confines of this world and it's construct of time but to them time is not linear and most likely for anyone else who spends enough time outside of it's construct as you would see the future just as well as you would see the past as well as anything else , I guess that is the nature of infinity . However I have not had a near death experience as near as I can tell so anything outside of my own experience has to come from others who have been dead , if only for a little while . I remote view but I do not channel the dead however I knew someone who did . Whether or not the course of the future can be changed though it is up to us to try , that is who we are ....

Oh brother..Alan Watts is long gone, unfortunately. 1973 to be exact. These lectures were recorded many decades ago, 50-60 years ago I believe, some maybe even older. They are still very relevant, the man was a great thinker and a great teacher.

Thank You! This isn't Zen, this is personal experience based on lot of meditation and studing, because Zen don't speak, Zen is very individual experience which never speaks against anything, and does'nt speak about experiences at all. Real Zen Master who has highest achivement will laugh on such interpretations of Zen, or even never see or hear anything like that. This isn't critique, this is only personal opinion on my level of understanding, and mr. Watts isn't alive, so "De mortuis nil nisi bonum dicendum est".
